Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Environmental Health & Safety Teams ensure and monitor safety in the workplace. This includes the application and communication of health, safety and hazardous material standards, procedures and practices consistent with TE, environmental and government regulations.

What your background should look like:

• To detect and eliminate the potential hazard, risks from unsafe acts and unsafe conditions.
• Onsite process inspection, keep monitoring, take the corrective actions with relevant functions.
• Tracking and drive the corrective actions till closure.
• Promoting Environmental Health and Safety awareness to employee through various activities.
• Conduct the internal S.A.F.E. System, TEOA and ISO 14001 Audits to determine its effectiveness.
• Able to work in night shift or irregular working shift.
• Any other duties as determined or assignment by the EHS Manager.

  SPECIFIC REQUIREMENT -

              -  Understand roles & responsibilities, and accountabilities of being a safety inspector.

              -  Understand the In-Process Safety Inspection procedure and how to use inspection checklists.

              -  Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment training.

              -  Develop effective and two-way communication skills.

              -  Develop conflict and dilemma management skills.

              -  Basic Fire Fighting or Advance Fire Fighting.

             

Qualification

Education

- Vocational certificate or bachelor’s degree.

 Experience

- 3-5 years’ experience in shop floor or on-site production area.
- Familiar with machine guarding and LOTO requirements.
- Able to work on MS Office.
