Job Overview

This role is responsible for driving Continuous Improvement (CI) and TEOA initiatives across Gateway Operations. You will lead key projects that enhance quality, reduce cost, improve productivity, optimize cycle time, and strengthen operational excellence through Lean, Kaizen, TPM, and digital transformation practices. The role also collaborates closely with Asia Pacific teams and represents ASEAN Operations in global CI forums to sustain high-performance culture and business improvements.

Job Requirements

  • Lead TEBITs, Kaizen, and CI activities for Gateway Operations.
  • Drive major improvement projects related to quality, cost reduction, productivity, waste elimination, scrap reduction, and cycle time improvement.
  • Manage and improve 5S, Andon, QCO, TPM, Spare Part Management, AGV, Kanban, Paperless workflow, Plant Layout, Capacity Expansion, and digital factory solutions.
  • Prepare operational forecasts and analyze industry trends, machine capacity, and manpower planning.
  • Coach and mentor teams on CI methodologies, Lean tools, and global improvement frameworks.
  • Report progress of CI initiatives to local and global stakeholders.
  • Analyze data and develop clear summary reports for decision‑making.
  • Coordinate TEOA/CI and Digital Factory activities across Asia Pacific (China, Japan, Korea).
  • Represent ASEAN best practices and support global COE (Center of Excellence) collaboration.Improve workplace environment in safety, workflow, housekeeping, and team morale.Support teamwork and effective collaboration across departments.
  • Develop and implement new methods to continuously enhance safety, quality, and productivity.Perform other tasks assigned by the Division Manager as needed.

What your background should look like

  • 4–8+ years of experience in Continuous Improvement within a manufacturing environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or related engineering field.
  • Strong foundation in CI, Lean, Kaizen, TPM, Six Sigma, and related tools (certifications highly desirable).
  • Proficient in SAP/BOM/Routing and familiar with Power BI, Power Apps, Tableau, and AutoCAD.
  • Experience in High‑Speed Stamping, Plastic Injection, or Automation is preferred.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach, influence, and drive CI culture.
  • Excellent communication skills in English (Chinese is a plus).Collaborative, proactive, and able to work effectively under pressure.
  • Energetic, self‑driven, target‑oriented, and committed to continuous improvement.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a team‑player mindset when working with internal and external teams.
