Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Supply Chain Managers are responsible for the timely, cost-effective procurement, inventory control, planning and quality control of production materials. They ensure the availability of materials in the supply chain, as scheduled, and the maintenance of inventory at the established levels. They coordinate and integrate the flow of materials and information among suppliers, manufacturers, distributors and customers, identifying opportunities for improving efficiency, effectiveness and capabilities of the supply chain. Resources are focused on continuous improvement of the movement of materials through production processes, and the establishment of key performance metrics and benchmarks to monitor actual performance against goals.

Job Summary 5-3-M Supervisor II, Supply Chain (Gateway)
•    Focus on Production / Materials Planning
•    Active participation in the day-to-day meeting with different function to resolve critical issues that affect shipment to customers. 
Job Qualification 
•    Degree graduate is any discipline.
•    SAP knowledge is a MUST.
•    Minimum 10-12 years’ experience in Supply Chain 
•    Fluency in English 
•    Good in Microsoft (Excel / Power Point)
•    Good leadership
Job Responsibilities
•    Prepare the 3 months MPS / Monitor SCCOP / Actual Hours earned (SHE) based on IBP forecast and customer order backlog.
•    Monthly review the tooling capacity and propose for capacity expansion. 
•    Attend daily meetings with Operation to review the production status and address issues. 
•    Release Purchase orders to OV / Affiliate for the components required based on the MPS. 
•    Work with source for any PO pull-in/push-out/cancellation as requested by customers.
•    Keep track of inventory level, ensure that there is no excess or non-moving stock, proactively offer excess stock to affiliates to minimize inventory holding cost. 
•    Participate in TEOA / other continuous improvement project and any other ad-hoc duties as required.
•    Drive Lead-time reduction activities
•    Drive PDR reduction 
•    Prepare monthly material reports.
•    Prepare Yearly budget numbers (SCCOP / Loading Hours / Capacity utilization)
