Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Quality Assurance Teams are responsible for all or part of an organization's Quality Management System, including conformance and continuous improvement initiatives. They work on systemic evaluation of products, services, facilities, manufacturing or business processes, to ensure that standards of quality are being met. Develop and implement quality plans, programs and procedures using quality control statistics, lean manufacturing concepts, and six-sigma tools and analyses. They reviews, analyze and report on quality discrepancies, investigate problems and executes quality audits, and develops disposition and corrective actions for recurring discrepancies. The team works closely with manufacturing, engineering, customers, or suppliers and subcontractors to ensure requirements are met.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS
•    Education
1)    Degree in Quality Management/Engineering discipline.

•    Experience
1)    Preferably with 3 years of quality assurance experience in electronics manufacturing industry.
2)    Knowledge and experience in ISO9001 and IATF16949 standards, SAP QM Module, Quality Management System Audit, Manufacturing Process Audit, VDA 6.3 Process Audit, Automotive Core tools (FMEA, MSA, SPC, APQP, PPAP), 8D Methodology, 5-Why Analysis, Ishikawa Diagram Analysis and Design of Experiment (DOE) preferred.

•    Personal Attribute
1)    Good English speaking and writing skills.
2)    Strong analytical, communication and presentation skills.
3)    Positive mindset with good interpersonal skills to interact with all levels and in teams.

JOB RESPONSIBILITY:
1)    Ensure that processes needed for the quality management system are established, implemented and maintained. 
2)    Provide leadership in the resolution of problems associated with the quality management system.
3)    Audit and review the quality management system at planned intervals to ensure its continued suitability, adequacy and effectiveness.
4)    Report to the management on the performance of the quality management system and any needs for improvement.
5)    Promote awareness and training on quality management system to company employees.
6)    Participate in the development and implementation of global and regional Quality System enhancement projects.
7)    Participate in Layered Process Audit, 6-Sigma projects, Kaizen events and Continual Improvement activities.
8)    Any other assignments delegated by Superiors.
