Support new product development and continuous improvement by executing APQP, quality planning, part qualification, risk analysis and customer requirement compliance. Lead investigations, audits, safe launches and cross‑functional problem‑solving.
Job Requirements
- Execute APQP activities for new product development / sustaining product with new tooling by establishing Quality Assurance Plan, Inspection plan, QC jigs/gauges design & measurement method development, Module Qualification (Tooling/Fixture, Assembly, Material, Operator, Measurement System), Parts Run Evaluation, Parts Release & Open Issues list follow-up to closure.
- As Quality representative core team member in Project Management Team meeting, execute tightened LEANPD processes in each project gate & ensure all deliverables completion on time project schedule.
- Responsible for First Article Inspection, capability study evaluation, part release and PPAP submission.
- Participate in PRD feasibility study/design review in all project phases (Concept, Design, Industrialize)
- Actively involves in DFMEA/PFMEA review to provide input from past Lesson Learn to identify potential risks for review, assessment and preventive/detective action plan.
- Involve in EP (Error Proofing) concept review discussion and conduct RFMEA to verify and stress test EP.
- Capture all defects from development, qualification and realization phase into lesson learn database for future project improvement.
- Escalate projects with high complexity and projects with high risk to meet APQP elements or customer requirement in the APQP Escalation Report.
- Ensure customer specific requirements are documented and executed to fulfill customer requirement.
- Form cross functional team and drive 8D response to customer complaints, and follow up to closure.
- Safe Launch production monitoring, regular review performance criteria and drive all open issues list to closure for safe launch exit on time.
- Propose budget for new inspection / test equipment & customized jigs/gauges required for new product.
- Any other assignments delegated by Superiors.
What your background should look like
Education
- Bachelor degree or above in Quality Management or Engineering.
Experience
- 2–5 years in Quality Assurance in manufacturing.
- Knowledge of ISO9001/IATF16949/ISO14001, QMS audits, process audits, FMEA, MSA, SPC, APQP, PPAP, 8D, 5-Why, DOE.
- Experience in connector or cable assembly manufacturing is an advantage.

Specific Requirements
- SAP experience.
- Advantage: VDA 6.3, Six Sigma, Shainin Red‑X.
- Travel up to 25% for tooling buyoff.
- Solid QA engineering experience in manufacturing (2–5 years).
- Strong understanding of APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, and quality tools.
- Hands-on experience with audits, capability studies, and part qualification.
- Exposure to tooling, process development, or connector/cable production is a plus.
- Comfortable working cross-functionally and leading problem‑solving activities.
