Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Supply Chain Managers are responsible for the timely, cost-effective procurement, inventory control, planning and quality control of production materials. They ensure the availability of materials in the supply chain, as scheduled, and the maintenance of inventory at the established levels. They coordinate and integrate the flow of materials and information among suppliers, manufacturers, distributors and customers, identifying opportunities for improving efficiency, effectiveness and capabilities of the supply chain. Resources are focused on continuous improvement of the movement of materials through production processes, and the establishment of key performance metrics and benchmarks to monitor actual performance against goals.

Job Requirements

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead / Guide a team of planners, warehouse personnel and BOI team. Organize the jobs and assign task accordingly to meet KPI set by management

• Responsible to set up KPI, review and maintain the KPI

• Prepare the 3 months MPS / Monitor SCCOP / Actual Hours earned (SHE) base on IBP forecast

• Review and work with operation to executive the production plan

• Organize and lead the ASEAN S&OP meeting

• Monitor the customer orders delivery commitment to ensure STR target is met

• Review the customer backlog vs forecast to ensure billing target is met

• Monitor inventory level and inventory accuracy, nonactive scrap

• Monitor the purchase order delivery commitment to ensure STS target is met

• Monthly review the raw material planning to avoid excess/shortage of materials

• Monthly review and analysis the capacity tooling to propose for capacity expansion

• Drive Lead-time reduction activities

• Lead the team to achieve TEOA star level

• Prepare monthly material reports

• Participate in Weekly / Monthly meeting

• Work with BOI official on Max Stock/Formulae

• Yearly Budget Preparation

 

QUALIFICATIONS

• 12-15 years of working experience, with 5-7 years supervisory/managerial experience

• Degree graduate is any discipline

• SAP knowledge is preferred

• Knowledge of BOI operation

What your background should look like

Generally requires Bachelors degree in appropriate field with a minimum of 8 years of experience; Masters degree or higher or local equivalent may be preferred at this level
