Job Overview

Lead Manufacturing Engineering to drive productivity, quality, and cost performance by overseeing NPD, process improvements, and capacity expansion while aligning with regional and plant strategies.

Job Requirements

  • Leading all Manufacturing activities for Thailand (Gateway) that related to NPD, Sustaining project, Capacity expansion, Process improvement, Quality improvement, Productivity improvement.
  • Work with all APAC functional leader and representative of Manufacturing Thailand.
  • Develop strategic plan and ensure manufacturing objectives are met regarding to EHS, Productivity, Headcount, Cycle time, Quality and Cost
  • Initiate, specify, develop, procedure, install and commission all necessary manufacturing tooling/machines with strategic planning and execution.
  • Identify and document major manufacturing problems and establish an organized plan to implement corrective action.
  • Establish and document departmental operating plans that dovetail into the company objectives of delivery high quality, low cost product on a timely basis and within the established profit objectives.
  • Plan and analyze capacity requirement and recommend new addition of changes to expand/improve manufacturing operations.
  • Support machine maintenance and repair of equipment, tooling to maximize equipment utilization.
  • Sustain high morale and develop teamwork both within and across departments.
  • Project management of product tooling / machine transfer program.
  • Lead and provide guidance to a team of Manufacturing Engineering.
  • Others assigned by Operation manager/ Plant manager.

What your background should look like

  • Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Production Engineering.

  • Experience
  1. At least 10 years experiences in a manufacturing environment, preferably with some related knowledge in Stamping, Molding or Auto Assembly.
  2. Lean Manufacturing methodologies and Six Sigma Problem Solving experience preferred.
  3. Strong technical engineering background.
  4. Supervisory experience in manager level at least 5 years.
  5. Good project management of Green/Brown filed.
  6. Strong in skill development and related.
  7. High level of professional integrity and ethics.
  8. Very good knowledge and competent (at functional and modeling level).
  9. Fully competent in using MS Office suite of application.
  10. Business case knowledge and understand Make vs Buy

SPECIFIC REQUIREMENT (IF ANY):

  1. Knowledge of Stamping/ Molding/ Connector/ Cable assembly process.
  2. Knowledge of leadership skill.
  3. Knowledge in Lean Manufacturing methodologies and Six Sigma.
  4. Knowledge of core tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA, Control Plan)
  5. Familiar of SAP / Minitab.
  6. Familiar of Auto CAD / Solidwork / Creo.
  7. ISO 14001: 2015 and IATF 16949 requirement and Internal auditor.
