Job Overview
TE Connectivity's Account Management Teams are responsible for selling TE's products, systems or services, providing detailed technical product information and maintaining relationships with customers in assigned geographic territory, industry or accounts.
This is a home-office position that is ideally based in Southern Germany.
Become the main customer interface for all technical requirements; with the ability to understand and support customer needs and mobilize internal TE resources for timely and effective resolution.
- Become the technical expert for TE products used in truck applications
- Develop new business opportunities and turn them into profitable sales growth
- Coordinate and report technical requirements inside the GAM team and with the wider TE sales team for involved component manufacturers as required to support projects and future developments
- Identify application areas where TE does not have a dominating position and define products requirements
- Manage customer specific developments technically and coordinate related product validation with the customer
- Build a strong network of relationships at the customer
- Support the account manager with presentations, quotations and negotiations of specific projects
- Coordinating Techdays or workshops and present latest products to the customer
- Communicate results and account activity regularly and comprehensively as requested by the Global Account Manger, regional Sales Manger or the senior management team
Job Requirements
• Strong technical background, with expertise in HV
• Completed studies in engineering, preferably electrical engineering
• Several years of experience in sales engineering / account management / product or project management with commercial experience
• Experience in the automotive/Commercial transport market, preferably in the area of German OEM or harness maker
• Fluent in German and English
• IT experience - Microsoft Office, optional: SAP project planning tools, Salesforce
• Outgoing, communicative and assertive demeanor with good presentation and negotiation skills
• Strong interest in the sales of technically sophisticated products
• Willingness to travel – anticipated to be min. 25% at customer premises in the area of Munich and Stuttgart

Timeline
TE Connectivity recruits on campus between September and March for New Grad (FT), Rotational, Internship and Co-op positions beginning in May. Once you have applied to a position, your resume and application will be reviewed. If you are selected to move to the next step in the application process, you will be contacted by a recruiter. Once you accept an offer, the onboarding process will begin in January for interns who have committed to offers in the fall semester and upon acceptance for interns who have committed to offers in the spring semester.
