Continuous Improvement Analyst (m/w/d)
Job Overview
The Continuous Improvement Analyst (m/f/d) creates and supports the deployment of TEOA (Lean) principles across the site organization in collaboration with the business unit TEOA management to achieve improvements on the Balanced Scorecard. The Continuous Improvement Analyst will support plant management and the site organization with their lean system knowledge regarding quality, employee empowerment, material flow and other lean manufacturing systems.
- Support site management in developing a lean vision for the site for the next 3-5 years (layout, flow, capacity, automation), innovative goals and transformation plan
- Annually select the appropriate transformation projects for the site to achieve the 3-5 year vision in collaboration with the site manager and TEOA management of the BU
- Assist in setting and clarifying site objectives in line with BU ICT roadmaps, develop and maintain site improvement plan together with site leadership and/or TEOA regional and/or global managers, facilitate implementation of objectives across all levels and departments, track monthly progress on KPI scorecard, promote and share successes and best practices across the BU
- Lead the creation of a transformation plan for the site that includes all required lean tools/elements and support the implementation of the plan
- Conducting and supporting kaizen workshops to implement the transformation plan
- Conduct star level assessment of the site
- Drive operational performance - conduct regular Gemba to review and adjust daily performance, participate in solving complex problems, identify and uncover gaps to achieve targets in daily operations
- Search for best practices in TEOA or other continuous improvements and share with other sites within the BU or globally TE
- Implement TEOA improvement tools at the site, starting with site value stream mapping, standardized work, change-over standards (flexibility), line downtime reduction, line balancing and overall efficiency.
- Contribute to the reduction of lead times by ensuring the implementation of continuous processes, layout optimization, pull systems and acceleration of processes through coaching and/or leading TEOA/lean principles workshops
- Support staff development - prepare training and education program for all employees on TEOA/Lean tools, conduct regular training and on-the-job training, coach, track and deliver training and upskilling to managers and employees, recognize and reward employees' newly acquired skills
- Acting as a role model as an active “change agent” within the plant by promoting a TEOA/lean manufacturing mentality
What your background should look like:
- Completed studies or comparable
- Minimum 2-3 years of practical experience in manufacturing or engineering related to the production environment
- Recognized Lean Practitioner (m/f/d)
- Proven experience/projects in the area of Continuous Improvement, Lean, etc.
