Job Overview

TE's HR Services teams provide direct support to employees, other HR groups and management as part of a centralized function to handle a variety of HR-related transactions. They receive and respond to requests concerning HR policies/programs, appropriately routes requests from employees to others for additional information and may respond to practices inquiries via online resources and/or telephone. The team also processes various paper and electronic forms related to documenting HR activities such as new-hire onboarding, change-of-status, benefits, termination of employment, etc. 

Principal Duties & Tasks:

  • Manages SOX compliance of payroll and administration processes
  • Sets rules and procedures within the team and the cooperation with other teams in HR
  • Is responsible for information flow and effective cooperation within HR department
  • Coordinates cooperation with payroll outsourcing company
  • Participates in HR projects
  • Knows the range of works in directed organizational unit
  • Coordinates work in directed organizational unit and cooperates with other organizational units
  • Supervises and controls inside and outside documents circulation in range of directed organizational unit
  • Creates proper team-work relationship in directed organizational unit 
  • Ensures availability of resources required for tasks and goals realization and controls theirs proper usage and protection in organizational unit 
  • Supervises and controls observance of order and work discipline by team members
  • Improves work methods and forms for team members
  • Sets up working time schedule, reports working hours and prepares vacation plan for team members
  • Distributes tasks among team members, adequate to job position and competences
  • Assesses employees annually
  • Identifies development needs of the team members, related to duties on particular position
  • Supports, motivates and develops competences of the team members
  • Creates and updates job descriptions for team members using valid job description templates functioning in the company and delivers those documents signed by the employees to the personnel administration department
  • Moves for awards, bonuses, promotions and transfers for team members
  • Moves for punishment for employees who do not obey order and work discipline or fire fighting, health and safety regulations in force
  • Moves for dismissal of the employees who do not fulfill their duties or in case of positions reduction
  • Executes work honestly and conscientiously
  • Bears the disciplinary, penal and civil responsibility for dereliction of duty and non-observance of Polish law
  • Assigns substitute and defines their range of work
  • Controls and is accountable for proper and punctual tasks realization settled in detailed range of tasks and responsibilities and orders of direct supervisor
  • Controls and is accountable for goals achievement
  • Shares knowledge and experience with co-workers and supports them
  • Complies with quality, environment protection, Code of Conduct and other rules existing within the company
  • Obeys and is accountable for obey fire fighting, health and safety regulations in force
  • Obeys and is accountable for obey loyalty and confidentiality rules towards the company
  • Obeys and is accountable for obey SOX procedures (re: internal controls of financial flow in the company) applicable at the position
  • Performs other tasks ordered by superior, not mentioned above for the good of interests of the company
What your background should look like:
  • Demonstrates skills and knowledge, that allows independent performance of duties in standard situations and non standard situations
  • Has extensive knowledge in the field of payroll and personnel administration management, supported by at least 5 years of experience, including in managerial positions, and communicative knowledge of English, spoken and written
