Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and strategic OT Cyber Security Regional Leader to oversee and drive the cybersecurity posture of Operational Technology (OT) environments across the EMIA region. This role is responsible for protecting industrial control systems (ICS), SCADA, and critical infrastructure from cyber threats while ensuring alignment with global security standards and business objectives.

The role includes leading regional initiatives, defining and standardizing cybersecurity processes, and coordinating subject matter expert (SME) teams to support plants and industrial sites.

Tasks and Responsibilities

Strategy & Governance
•    Define and execute the OT cybersecurity strategy for the EMIA region aligned with global strategy and policies. 
•    Establish governance frameworks, standards, and best practices for OT environments. 
•    Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards (e.g., IEC 62443, NIST, NIS2, ISO 27001). 


Process Definition & Standardization
•    Lead the development, harmonization, and continuous improvement of OT cybersecurity processes across the region. 
•    Define scalable and repeatable security processes for plant environments (e.g., asset management, patching, access control, incident handling). 
•    Ensure alignment between global standards and regional/site-specific operational realities. 
•    Drive adoption of defined processes across all plants and monitor effectiveness. 


Plant Support & SME Coordination
•    Provide direct and structured support to plants and industrial sites on OT cybersecurity topics. 
•    Coordinate and lead regional subject matter expert (SME) teams to deliver technical guidance and hands-on support. 
•    Act as escalation point for complex OT cybersecurity issues in plants. 
•    Ensure consistent knowledge sharing and best practice transfer across sites. 
•    Support plant onboarding, assessments, and remediation programs. 


Risk Management & Compliance
•    Conduct risk assessments and threat modeling for OT systems. 
•    Identify vulnerabilities and drive remediation plans across sites. 
•    Oversee audits, assessments, and regulatory inspections in the region. 


Operations & Incident Response
•    Lead regional OT security monitoring and incident response activities. 
•    Coordinate response to cyber incidents impacting industrial systems. 
•    Collaborate with IT security teams to ensure integrated defense strategies. 


Architecture & Implementation
•    Guide secure design and deployment of OT networks and systems. 
•    Oversee segmentation, access control, and monitoring solutions in industrial environments. 
•    Evaluate and implement OT security technologies. 


Leadership & Stakeholder Management
•    Act as the primary EMIA point of contact for OT cybersecurity. 
•    Lead and mentor a team of OT security specialists (direct or matrix organization). 
•    Partner with plant managers, engineering teams, and executive leadership. 
•    Manage external vendors and service providers where applicable. 

Awareness & Training
•    Promote cybersecurity awareness across OT environments. 
•    Develop training programs tailored for engineers and plant personnel.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Engineering, IT, or related field.
  • 8+ years of demonstrated Project/Program Management experience in technology
  • Strong leadership skills with a track record of managing cross-functional projects with local and global teams in a matrix environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully manage multiple projects and programs and meet scope, schedule, and budget requirements.
  • Confidence in communicating to peers and senior management.
  • Clear, strategic thinker with vision and the ability to execute on priorities with a results-oriented focus.
  • Familiarity with international cybersecurity standards including ISA/IEC 62443, NIST, and ISO 27001.
  • Problem-solving skills, capable of analyzing complex security systems and threats.
  • Ability to engage collaboratively with Cybersecurity, IT, Operation and business leadership, influencing outcomes through expertise and analysis.
  • Demonstrable ability in creating a holistic strategy and driving implementation
