This role combines strategic ownership with strong technical capability, requiring you to drive and technically validate AI initiatives beyond proof-of-concept, align business and AI/IT stakeholders, and ensure scalable, production-ready deployment that delivers measurable operational and quality results.

Remote role working in different plants in EMEA.

Your main tasks

Strategy

- Identify and prioritize AI and digital opportunities across the Quality function.

- Translate the global Quality AI strategy into a clear and actionable roadmap.

- Collaborate with business units and regional digital leaders to ensure strategic alignment.

- Work with cross‑functional teams to understand needs, co‑create solutions, validate use cases, and support adoption.

- Support the deployment of AI capability development within the Quality organization.

 

Execution

- Lead and contribute to the development and implementation of AI solutions (e.g., machine learning, deep learning, LLMs, dashboards).

- Provide guidance on processes, data structure, and data readiness to enable effective AI integration.

- Serve as a connector between Quality and AI teams (internal and external) to ensure solution feasibility, timely delivery, and validation.

 

Talent

- Identify AI training needs across Quality functions based on roles and responsibilities.

- Foster continuous learning and upskilling through coaching, training sessions, knowledge sharing, and hands‑on collaboration.

Your Ideal Background

  • Engineer / Master degree (data science preferred)
  • 5+ years of project management experience delivering AI or machine learning solutions end‑to‑end
  • 3–5 years of hands‑on coding experience (e.g. Python)
  • Proven experience industrializing AI projects in manufacturing or other industrial environments.
  • Practical knowledge of large language models (LLMs) and their applications
  • Solid understanding of data and cloud infrastructure needed to scale AI solutions.
  • Mature, realistic perspective on AI capabilities and limitations, with the ability to assess use‑case feasibility.
  • Strong cross‑functional communication skills, especially between business, IT, quality, development teams, and plant operations.
  • Willingness to travel across EMEA and globally
  • Strong stakeholder management skills across complex, global environments.
