ACCOUNT MANAGER
Why you should join:
TE Connectivity's Account Management Teams are responsible for selling TE's products, systems or services, providing detailed technical product information and maintaining relationships with customers in assigned geographic territory, industry or accounts.
Your main tasks:
- Customer Engagement:
Conduct regular customer visits, phone calls, and email communications.
Provide technical advisory and support to customers.
- Sales Support:
Prepare sales statistics and quotations.
Deliver presentations to customers and support sales negotiations, including special pricing and unique customer requirements.
- Coordination and Reporting:
Coordinate logistics for customer events, technical days, and exhibitions.
Report all activities to the Country (or Area) Sales Manager.
- Market and Product Updates:
Inform customers about changes in the product offerings.
Monitor market trends and competitive activities.
Irregular Tasks:
- Training and Documentation:
Deliver occasional trainings and presentations for customers.
Assist with documentation translations as needed.
- Complaint Coordination:
Act as the first point of contact for customer complaints and ensure proper reporting (except in AUT).
Inform management of special customer requirements if negotiated with the Sales Manager.
Additional Responsibilities:
Ensure full and timely communication of required information to customers.
Represent the BU and Corporation in all customer-related contacts.
Organize daily work and manage priorities to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
Your ideal background:
- BA/BS in Business, Engineering, or Sales & Marketing (preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience.
- Experience with Automotive and/or ICT OEMs and CAMs is preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Office, MS Teams, and Salesforce.
- Excellent relationship-building and communication skills.
- A clear, strategic thinker with the ability to execute on priorities.
- Willingness and flexibility to travel up to 50%.
- This role requires frequent customer interaction both on-site and remotely. You will need to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of professional service.
