PRODUCTION OPERATOR II

Job Overview

This first shift position is responsible for: General setup, operation, and maintenance of tooling to support manufacturing and development efforts. Facility cleaning, Tool cleaning, Machine tear down/setups, QA/Secondary Operations support as needed, Customer Service support as needed. Overall a multi-functional individual that will wear several hats during our growth needs. This individual will have an opportunity to grow into the direction of offering in the very near future as TE Connectivity continues to grow.

What your background should look like:

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES                                                                                      
•    Extrusion tooling cleaning, set-up and tear down. 
•    Managing INV levels of extrusion tools and tooling.
•    Maintain and keep tooling room organized.
•    Tear down, setup and operate braiders.
•    Support extrusion lines as needed. 
•    Execute equipment preventative maintenance. 
•    Material handling including loading and draining material hoppers.
•    All paper work required per our QA manual & documentation system.
•    Secondary operations including but not limited to decoring, annealing and cut to length.
•    Supporting QA as needed with inspection procedures or any other QA related tasks.

QUALIFICATIONS
•    High Energy Self starter that excels in a high energy environment
•    1-3 years manufacturing, med-tech and/or extrusion experience (minimum)
•    High School Graduate or equivalency

TRAINING REQUIREMENTS
The employee in this position will be trained on their task requirements, company quality policies, department policies, and appropriate operating procedures. When a job description is changed or an employee moves to a new position, further training may be required.

•    Review of the Quality Manual

•    Training on appropriate Quality SOPs as determined by the Manager.
