Job Overview

We are seeking a talented, innovative, customer-focused HR Leader, to join our Regional HR Team, as a multi-site HR Regional Partner.  Your home base will be our beautiful location in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota, with expected travel (as needed)  to our locations in Medway, MA, Carlsbad, CA, and Englewood, CO. 

This position reports to the Regional HR Manager – US, and will closely partner with HR Business leaders, at each specific site, to guarantee alignment in approaching business needs. The role requires one to effectively work with other HR functions to direct and ensure the successful delivery of HR services required to drive business imperatives within an assigned geographical region and proactively seek to identify and resolve issues driving HR operational excellence through TEOA (TE’s Continuous Improvement Program). You will partner with your regional team, to standardize processes across our US region, to include continuous performance and development, and drive culture and engagement, while partnering with site leadership to create an inclusive and engaging work environment.   Working as ONE HR, you will partner with COEs and external resources to deliver service at the pace of business. This may include employee relations, process optimization, partnering with our talent organization with recruiting, onboarding/offboarding, and data analysis/metrics.

•    Provides HR services, guidance, and coaching to managers and employees, ensuring, alignment with corporate policies, goals, and objectives.
•    Lead activities related to employee engagement and development.
•    Develop a site-specific strategy to partner with site leadership to accomplish BU goal alignment.
•    Conducts employee orientations and implements organizational development, workforce or succession planning, training, or performance management strategies, in partnership with HR Regional Group and BU site-specific goals. 
•    Partnering with HR Team, to support building leader capability, improving workforce capability, and positive employee relations practices. 
•    Understand the business cycles and talent needs of the organization to develop human capital strategies to build the capability of the workforce to meet business goals. 
•    Provide coaching and consulting to managers and employees, GM +3 and below, in the areas of performance management, compensation, employee retention, talent planning, leader and employee development, positive employee relations practices, and conflict resolution. 
•    Partner with senior leadership to accomplish site-specific financial goals to include cost of employee engagement, recruiting and training of talent, and site budget requirements.
•    May assist in recruiting or administration of compensation and benefit programs.
•    Quarterly travel to one of three sites (Colorado, Massachusetts, California), or as needed as business dictates.

What your background should look like:

•    Bachelor’s degree or above or equivalent experience; HR-related major preferred 
•    5+ years’ experience within Human Resources; Ideal candidate will have previous experience in a Generalist, HR Business Partner, or HR Manager capacity, offering a broad range of expertise within HR spanning Employee Relations, Talent Acquisition, Coaching, and Development. 
•    Experience partnering with business leaders in a matrixed environment requiring influencing skills.
•    Must have an effective balance between strategic and tactical implementation skills. 
•    Preferred hybrid flex (multi-site) management.   Ideal candidates must be able to work in a plant and remote environment. 
•    Ability to provide innovative solutions and adapt in a rapidly changing environment. 
•    Ability to act as a credible coach and facilitator and a credible role model for effective leadership and performance. 
•    Ability to build trust and credibility among his/her team and at all levels within the organization. 
•    Must have a high level of interpersonal skills, strong organizational and analytical skills; Process orientated and sense of urgency. 
•    Human Resource experience within a manufacturing environment is preferred.

COMPENSATION
•    Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $86,240 – $129,360 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
•    Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
•    Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
