Talent Management Specialist - Employee Experience (Remote Work Possible)

TEAM OVERVIEW

TE's Talent Management team is responsible for building the capability of the organization to be high performing and able to adapt, including change management, culture transformation and overall employee performance. They are responsible for TE's training and development strategy, ensuring skills and capabilities of employees meet the organization's current and future needs. They develop, implement and evaluate training activities to meet TE's competitive position requirements, and are responsible for mentoring and training programs to establish a diverse and inclusive culture.

ROLE OVERVIEW

The Talent Management Specialist – Employee Experience will play a crucial role in building employee engagement and a thriving culture in support of our business priorities and HR Value Drivers. This role will be responsible for the leadership of our Employee Listening strategy including design, deployment, communications, and analysis of results.  This role will also support successful implementation of the Talent Management Employee Experience strategy focused on engagement, culture, and talent practices, and provide expert talent management support to the Communications Solutions segment and Corporate Functions.

KEY FOCUS AREAS

  • Employee Listening Strategy
    • Every Voice Counts Annual Survey and ad hoc quarterly Pulse Survey program management
    • Onboarding & Exit Survey program management, including analysis and presentation of enterprise level insights
    • Ongoing evaluation of listening strategy and proposes changes for continuous improvement. Drives the implementation of corrective actions where required.
  • Providing expert input to Talent Management Employee Experience strategy and business talent management strategies
  • Finds and promotes opportunities to improve the TE Employee Experience including strategies related to Engagement, Culture, Wellbeing, and Onboarding Processes.
    • Ensures that Employee Experience best practices are built into GTM solutions inclusive of talent management, learning, leadership development, engagement and inclusion and organization effectiveness
  • Partners with Communications Solutions & Corporate Functions as internal consultant on Talent Management, including co-creation and implementation of Global Talent Management solutions within the segment & functions.
  • Provides expert consultation to HR and managers in the deployment of Talent Management practices e.g. Learning & Leadership Development, Organization Effectiveness (i.e. Change Management, Talent Assessment & Development, etc), Inclusion & Diversity.  
  • Maintains internal customer intimacy with key stakeholders building quality relationships through effective internal consultation.
  • Leads implementation of strategic Employee Experience solutions by enabling regional teams, TE Facilitators, HRBPs, and vendor partners to deliver effectively in region.
  • Guides managers and others in the use of 360-degree feedback tools, and delivers guidance around the analysis of feedback and assessments.

WHAT YOUR BACKGROUND SHOULD LOOK LIKE

  • Requires Bachelor degree (or equivalent); advanced degree preferred.
  • Requires a minimum of 10+ years of professional working experience in HR environment.
  • Requires a minimum of 7+ years of progressive experience delivering and implementing talent management initiatives and programs.
  • Experience in designing solutions for employees who are not often at a desk.
  • A passion for company culture and creating a unique a differentiated employee experience
  • Strong executive presence and track record of cultivating strong and trusting relationships with cross-functional partners and executive leaders
  • Knowledge of assessment practices, learning and leadership development programming, and engagement and inclusion practices.
  • Expertise in instructional design and development as well as facilitation is needed.
