Role: Operational Execution, Customer‑Facing Support & Strategy Enablement
Overview:
The Level III Strategic Sourcing Analyst supports day‑to‑day sourcing operations and customer‑facing activities, ensuring timely execution of supplier requests, pricing updates, and supply‑continuity actions. This role is hands‑on, highly responsive, and focused on transactional excellence, supplier coordination, and cross‑functional support. The Level III partner works closely with Supply Chain, Category leaders, and key suppliers to drive accurate data, resolve escalations, and maintain continuity—while gaining exposure to broader sourcing strategy.
Job Requirements
Operational & Transactional Execution
- Manage tail‑end spend and low‑complexity categories
- Process ticketing requests, quoting, and price‑increase administration
- Support Predictive CMP activities and data validation
- Execute SAP procurement actions with accuracy and timeliness
Supply Continuity & Customer Support
- Respond to supply escalations, material delays, and urgent customer issues
- Partner with Supply Chain on MOQs, forecasting alignment, and inventory‑management initiatives
- Support manufacturing and customer‑facing teams with timely updates and issue resolution
- Maintain relationships with key suppliers
- Track supplier commitments, actions, and communication cadence
- Support supplier performance monitoring and reporting and coordinate corrective actions where needed
Process & Continuous Improvement
- Serve as TEOA Lead for the team, driving standard work and process discipline
- Identify opportunities to streamline transactional workflows
Strategic Sourcing Support
- Support NA strategy execution through data preparation, reporting, and tactical follow‑up
- Collaborate with the strategic sourcing team to ensure execution aligns with category objectives and supports broader NA procurement strategy
- Assist SRM activities by coordinating supplier meetings, tracking actions, and maintaining performance data
- Provide operational support for strategies, including quoting, updates, and supplier follow‑through
- Manage day‑to‑day interactions with key suppliers to support continuity and responsiveness
- Prepare and analyze data to support sourcing decisions, CMP, cost trends, and performance reviews
- Assist with contract updates (pricing validation, document routing, compliance tracking)
- Support tariff‑impact tracking and mitigation through part‑level data and supplier documentation
- Assist VA/VE activities through data collection, validation, and pipeline tracking
What your background should look like
- 3–5 years of experience in Procurement, Supply Chain, or Sourcing operations
- Strong SAP proficiency (PO management, pricing, supplier updates)
- Working knowledge of supply‑chain fundamentals (forecasting, MOQs, inventory)
- Strong customer‑service mindset and communication skills
- Solid data accuracy and analytical abilities (Excel required)
- Ability to manage multiple requests in a fast‑paced environment
Competencies
COMPENSATION
• Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $93,200 – $116,400 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
• Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
• Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
