Job Overview

The Senior Manager of Brand Management will be responsible for leading global development and execution of the strategic and creative direction for the TE Connectivity brand delivering business growth and awareness. He/she will inspire TE Connectivity’s brand marketing efforts to be forward-thinking, differentiated, and culturally relevant. You will direct daily activities of marketing personnel and oversee the company’s brand, media, and creative agency relationships. The Senior Manager will also oversee global social media strategy and management and help steer cross-enterprise initiatives designed to improve global business unit synergies and strengthen the company’s ability to meet future growth objectives.

He/she will be responsible for brand strategic planning and analysis, global creative campaign development, and digital media effectiveness. Through data-driven insights and omnichannel digital media programs, the Senior Manager’s understanding of digital optimization and the ideal media mix will be critical to identifying and delivering growth opportunities with measurable business impact

The Senior Manager reports directly into the Sr. Director Brand & Social Media, lead a global team of social media and brand marketers, while collaborating closely with partner teams including Creative Design, Content, Performance Marketing, Communications, Employer Brand, Business Unit Marketing, Legal. 15% or less travel.

Global Brand Strategic Planning & Stewardship
•    Contributes to all stages of building the global brand positioning and creative brand platforms by collaborating side-by-side with Brand and Content teams across global markets (US, APAC, EMEA)
•    Leads the annual brand and social media campaign planning process defining full 12-month planning cycle that delivers on business objectives, target audience strategic messaging, clearly defined business KPI metrics

Creative Campaign Development
•    Uncompromising focus on creative excellence from authoring inspiring creative briefs, concept ideation reviews, pre & post-production decision making, through global launch plans, digital media execution, and ongoing optimizations
•    Identify new media channels and brand activation opportunities to expand awareness, engagement, equity, relevance, loyalty, and new customer acquisition, placing digital at the center of campaign strategy
•    Partner with TE Creative Design team to continually refresh brand treatments and guidelines to maintain consistency and relevance across all consumer touchpoints

Omnichannel Digital & Social Media Excellence
•    Collaborate with external creative and media agencies to execute complete omnichannel digital media programs, defining the ideal media mix and investments to exceed benchmarks
•    Leverage advanced digital understanding of “end-to-end digital campaign journey” including digital content, SEO, audience targeting, dynamic creative content, campaign personalization measurement
•    Maintain brand dashboard and campaign performance reporting to ensure growth in brand health metrics and business MQLs and Leads
•    Communicate up/down/across the organization to ensure transparency, alignment, and advocacy of brand marketing strategy
•    Partner with Talent Recruiting team for employer brand marketing, and Communications team for internal employee initiatives
•    Build and present well-communicated strategies to executives, and ability to communicate a high-level brand vision as well as give tactical creative feedback




What your background should look like:

  • 10+ years of brand marketing experience in best-in-class global environment, with either agency or client-side campaign creation
  • Strong knowledge of digital media and social best practices, with a solid understanding of which content and tactics work best in which channel and why
  • Mar Tech familiarity with marketing platforms like AEM, Adobe Analytics , Eloqua and Salesforce
  • Ideally B2B or B2B2C experience delivering brand excellence and driving internal cross-team collaboration in a multi-national matrix organization
  • Exceptional storytelling, editing and skilled at developing content across a broad range of lengths (long-form + short-form) and formats (social media, blogposts, video, etc), but have an understanding of the business rationale and goals for each campaign
  • Strong communicator and strategic thinker with a proven ability to translate complex concepts into easily digestible and compelling content
  • Performance-oriented and easily able to translate data into meaningful insights
  • Demonstrates capacity to communicate effectively with senior leadership, internal stakeholders, external agency partners, peers and direct reports
  • Ability to lead effectively, move quickly, and develop collaborative cross-functional relationships
  • Bachelor's degree (Master’s a plus), preferably in Marketing, Communications or related Advertising field

•    Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $133,400 – $182,200 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
•    Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
•    Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
