Job Overview

The Digital Center of Excellence (COE) partners across TE to embed digital strategy, tools, and expertise that help teams plan, build, and improve digital solutions, evolving TE’s digital ecosystem and delivering seamless, user-focused experiences. The Internal Communications & Content Sr. Specialist acts as an internal marketing engine for the Digital COE, driving stakeholder awareness, promoting team initiatives, and reinforcing our digital evolution narrative. This individual works closely with leadership and project leads to produce clear, compelling internal content to promote COE initiatives across internal platforms. They manage the COE SharePoint site, internal content calendar, and thought leadership development, while tracking engagement to improve communication performance. Reporting to the Head of Strategic Planning & Communications, they serve as a trusted content developer and communication partner, translating complex digital priorities into narratives and materials that increase visibility, reinforce strategic value, and manage internal adoption.

Content Strategy & Development
•    Support execution of the Digital COE’s internal engagement strategy through content and communications that build awareness and alignment.
•    Manage and maintain the internal content calendar and communication cadence.
•    Write, edit, and publish content, including thought leadership articles, team updates, and stakeholder-facing materials in collaboration with project leads and SMEs. 
•    Translate complex digital priorities into engaging narratives that reflect the Digital COE’s internal brand and storytelling strategy.
•    Develop templates and messaging tools to support consistent project updates.
•    Use Jira to manage project workflows, content tasks and visibility across communications priorities.
•    Produce or coordinate short-form video and visuals to support storytelling

 

SharePoint Ownership
•    Own the structure, governance, and ongoing management of the Digital COE SharePoint site.
•    Maintain a user-friendly, well-organized site with up-to-date content and resources.
•    Act as the point of contact for SharePoint enhancements and content organization

 

Analytics & Insights
•    Monitor and report on content performance across SharePoint and communication channels.
•    Identify trends and areas for improvement and apply insights to optimize future communications.
•    Create clear, actionable performance summaries and recommendations for leadership

 

Team Operations & Engagement Support
•    Maintain knowledge-sharing frameworks and access to key resources.
•    Provide guidance on collaboration tools (e.g., SharePoint, Teams, Power Automate).
•    Support internal team communications, engagement sessions, and leadership updates.

What your background should look like

 

•    5+ years of experience in internal communications, marketing, content strategy, or related roles, preferably in a B2B environment.
•    Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications, or related field; MBA a plus.
•    Experience using Jira or similar project management tools (e.g. Trello, Monday.com, Asana) to manage communication workflows and track deliverables.
•    Experience managing SharePoint or similar intranet platforms, including architecture, governance.
•    Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and communication tools (Slack, SharePoint, Teams).
•    Familiarity with tools for video editing and visual content creation (e.g., Microsoft Stream, Camtasia, Adobe Premiere) a plus.

•    Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills with the ability to communicate technical topics clearly.
•    Skilled in content performance analytics and reporting.
•    Highly organized, collaborative, and self-directed, with a proactive mindset and strong sense of ownership; able to anticipate needs and drive complex projects forward independently.
•    Comfortable working across teams and functions in a matrixed environment

COMPENSATION
•    Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $89,000 - $125,000 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
•    Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
•    Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
