Job Overview

The TE Human Resources Rotation Program is designed to provide participants with an accelerated experience in HR through broad exposure to HR as well as in-depth experiences with project and process responsibilities.  The program consists of three 8 month rotations in areas such as Staffing, Compensation, Organization Development and HR Business Partner work. Each assignment will entail important business objectives that will directly impact TE’s bottom line. Training will occur throughout the program. You will receive on the job training as well as four week-long training sessions. During these sessions, you will have an opportunity to build your TE network across all functions within the TE Rotation Programs, exposure activities with senior leadership, core skill trainings and team building events. Locations of each assignment vary among our locations across the US, including but not limited to North Carolina, Berwyn and Harrisburg, PA.  At the conclusion of the two year program, participants will be candidates for HR roles across the company.  The HR Rotation Program provides individuals with future leadership opportunities at TE. 

Responsibilities & Qualifications

As a Human Resources Rotation Associate, your responsibilities will include the following:

Compensation and Benefits: Provide expertise to develop competitive compensation and benefits practices to support talent attraction, retention, and recognition.

HR Business Partner: Provide support to implement key HR initiatives in a global setting. Coach, counsel, and influence managers in several areas including: succession planning, development of high potential employees, employee relations, performance management, disciplinary issues, employee engagement, etc.

 HR Transformation: Provide consultation on organizational design, effectiveness and change management. Optimize work processes and organizational change readiness.

Talent Acquisition: Provide targeted recruiting expertise and programs, processes and procedures to attract, select and deploy the best talent.

Talent Management: Drive company vision and execution for leadership and employee development, employee engagement, and inclusion and diversity. Plan for future workforce needs by analyzing internal and external talent during the company’s Organizational Leadership Review

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Human Resources is required
  • Minimum GPA in major of 3.0
  • Knowledge of employment laws, workers compensation, FMLA, FLSA, ADA and EEO
  • Eligible candidates will graduate between December 2016 and June 2017 with 0 – 2 years industry experience
  • Prior experience in at least one HR internship, co-op or full time role is required
  • Leadership experience is preferred
  • Able to interact with all levels of employment and work in multi-cultural environment
  • Geographically mobile
