Job Title:  FP&A Analyst

 

Job Description: Lead monthly analysis of costs and absorption (recovery) to completely understand variances of actual results vs. forecast, identifying and quantifying trends that can be expected to continue vs one-time impacts. Prepare ad-hoc and month-end analysis and recommendations on operations finance areas, both plant and non-plant cost impacting gross margin. Drive budgeting and forecasting process across all operations functions. Direct responsibility for Quality, Advanced Engineering, Digital Factor, Operations Management / Operations Center of Excellence / Strategy teams. Direct and mentor the operations support team, both potential direct and in-direct reports. Requires 20% international travel. Telecommuting permitted.    

 

Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or foreign equivalent), plus 3 years of experience in the job offered, or in a related occupation.

 

Special Requirements: Requires 3 years of experience with the following:

  1. Driving Continuous Improvement actions.
  2. Financial Reporting & Analytic skills.
  3. Strategic planning.
  4. Business Acumen.
  5. Basic understanding of TE products and the manufacturing process.

Requires 20% international travel. Telecommuting permitted. May require employment and background checks.

 

Salary: $112,852 - $124,137 / year

Hours:  40 hours per week

Job Requirements

  • Preparing monthly/quarterly/yearly finance forecasts and operational data analysis; ensuring accuracy in financial results and reports.
  • Preparing financial reports and documents research findings; builds financial databases and models based on research findings and forecasts.
  • Sharing key observations and recommendations based on financial forecasts and analysis with senior management to help them make strategic and operational decisions.
  • Monitoring and keeping track of economic and business trends; providing insights for new projects and investment opportunities.
