Job Overview

Responsible for supervising TE Connectivity’s corporate asset protection programs, as well as operational assignments within the department.  The role is directly accountable for oversight of risk based physical security programs to include the supply chain.  In addition, this role assists with the administration of department operational activities such as: SharePoint technology, TE’s security management system, policies, awareness programs, contracts, professional services administration and special projects. 

  • Responsible for maintaining the supply chain security programs in which TE Connectivity currently benefits from or can participate in the future (examples - AEO, C-TPAT, Known Consignor, NEEC, PIP and STP).
  • Develops physical security policies and standards for the enterprise.
  • Conducts physical security site risk assessments through existing software solutions and participates in supply chain security risk assessments as required by regulatory / enforcement agencies.
  • Evaluate ROI for physical security and supply chain improvements while partnering with regional security leaders to support the implement of appropriate risk-based enhancements. 
  • Develops metrics to monitor and evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness for programs in which the role is responsible for.
  • Supports regional security leaders in developing cost-effective physical security enhancements, collaborating with security vendors to ensure successful implementation.
  • Administers and maintains central technology to include the SharePoint, as well as continually evaluating new technologies and services.
  • Administer special projects and coordinate awareness training when required.
  • Ability to travel globally (estimated 20%).

  • Relationship Manager: Develops and nurtures trust-based relationships with business units, corporate peer groups, local government agencies and professional organizations. Must be a proven team player and possess excellent communication skills.
  • Governance Team Member: Provides intellectual leadership and active support to the organization’s governance team to ensure security risks are made known to management.
  • Subject Matter Expert: In-depth knowledge of physical security and supply chain security principles.
  • Understands principles of process management.
  • Bachelor’s degree with 5 or more years in physical security and/or supply chain focused roles.
