Job Overview

TE Connectivity in Chester, PA is looking for a Distribution Sales Representative to be responsible for TE branch execution of distributor corporate plans by prioritizing TE business plans based on market relevance, aligning TE priorities and local business plans with the distributor Sales Managers and General Managers, and includes responsibility for market business reviews. Responsible for branch training plans across TE products portfolio. Execute Competitive Analysis for TE products. Responsible for TE distributor business processes (Coop, POS reporting/matching). Assist in the retention and growth of TE TAM to DTAM accounts. Utilize TE’s distributor branch network to sell TE’s products and services in the field. Call on distributors and prospective customers, providing technical and administrative product support.  Provide information and demonstrations on TE products, as well as quotes to appropriate customer prices. Assist in achieving TE’s Point of Sale targets. Conduct regular quote follow up with TE’s Distributors/End customers. Act as the local contact for all TE BU sales teams to ensure TE plans/programs are consistently executed. Administer Design Registration Programs for TE distributors.

What your background should look like:

Requirements:  Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline, or foreign equivalent, and five years of experience in the position offered or in a closely related position.

Requires travel: 70% domestic.
Telecommuting from Dallas Forth-Worth TX metropolitan area acceptable. 

Special Requirements:  Experience must include: 

1.    Connector product and customer knowledge and selling into business that leverage these products (5 years)
2.    Sales management. (5 years)
3.    Deliver formal presentations to senior staff. (5 years)
4.    Negotiate with executives at all levels of an organization. (5 years)
5.    Electronics components and systems industry. (5 years)
