TE Connectivity in Berwyn, PA is looking for an Account Manager to act as the primary interface between the customer and TE. Work closely with customer engineering to develop engineered solutions utilizing TE’s existing product portfolio and development capabilities. Develop and maintain relationships at all levels within the customer to position TE as a strategic partner to the customer. Maintain a high level of awareness regarding industry trends and competitive activity within the territory. Drive sales growth through maximization of resources and execution of market segment strategies. Provide direction to global teams on key account activities and strategy. Effectively communicate with all other team members to promote the business needs of the territory to foster growth. Responsible for understanding all aspects of the customer including Available Market, Market Share, Customers Business Objectives, Goals, and Technologies. Responsible for delivering the annual growth plans regarding the specific customer and further defining the account specific tactic under consideration of customer’s and TE’s strategies. Requires 60% domestic travel. Telecommuting permitted.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering or related field (or foreign equivalent), plus 3 years of experience in the job offered, or in a sales-related occupation.    

Special Requirements: Requires 3 years of experience with the following:

1. Selling, presentation and negotiation experience.
2. CRM experience updating opportunities in the system and following up on opportunities to ensure the opportunity goes into production.
3. Field technical skills, specifically experience selling electronic components.
4. A deep and broad knowledge of industrial manufacturing technology and market trends.
5. Experience in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities in line with business plans.
