Senior product development engineer (m/f/x) for magneto resistive sensors (AMR, TMR)

- EMEA. Homeoffice possible with up to 25% traveling activity.
Responsibilities
- Independent planning, implementation/support, and analysis of technical tests in the area of magnetoresistive thinfilm sensors (TMR, AMR) to optimize product properties or to gain a deeper understanding of business-relevant aspects
- Selection and initiation of the selection of materials, processes and design under technical, economic and ecological aspects.
- Design and physical modeling of magnetorsistive thinfilm sensors
- (Partial) project management in development projects when deciding on the development of products/technologies, including technical project management/documentation/communication and the creation of development documentation.
- Initiation and coordination of network partners as well as support of project management, key account management and sales, ensuring close cooperation and coordination with internal interfaces
- Technical training of colleagues on questions in the field of magnetoresistive thin film sensor as well as advice and coordination of other specialist departments / customers in the respective specialist field.
- Technical support for existing products
What your background should look like:
- Completed university degree in a specialised field with a technical background (e.g. physics, material science, electrical engineering)
- At least 8 years of relevant professional experience
- Extensive experience in the field of magnetoresistive sensor development (TMR, AMR or GMR) including knowledge about underlying physics
- Excellent knowledge of specialized software for dataanalysis and maskdesign (GDS) and extensive knowledge of statistical methods
- Ability to work in a team, analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking and action, motivational skills
- Confident demeanor, independent, structured, and forward-looking working style, high degree of autonomy and initiative, resilience, flexibility
- Strong communication and presentation skills, extensive knowledge of FMEA, DOE, methodical solution finding, project management
- Assertiveness, strong implementation skills, delegation skills, motivational skills, and tolerance for ambiguity
- Results orientation, strong commercial and strategic thinking and action
