Senior Customer Quality Engineer (m/w/d)

Job Overview

Responsible for the strategic and operational activities in the area of Customer Quality for the assigned customers at TE Sensors for quality assurance.

 

  • Quality Key Contact for customers - related to TRS (with focus on CQE Auto / ICT) 
  • Voice of Customer @ TE under independent monitoring and implementation of customer satisfaction (measures within TE) 
  • Independent solution of complex problems of the production plants with the involvement of analytical aspects
  • Elaboration of strategies and specifications of the production plants taking into account the quality parameters
  • Independently manage, initiate and monitor appropriate measures to improve customer scorecards
  • Independent monitoring of complaints, DPPM (Defective Parts per Million) and response times, as well as initiation of measures to improve quality performance and efficiency.
  • Warranty management incl. conclusion of warranty agreements 
  • Management of periodic warranty settlements and commercial audits 
  • Reviewing and supporting the negotiation of quality agreements  
  • Moderation/management of escalated issues 
  • Management of measures to contain problems at the customer site  
  • Technical management of cross-functional teams (PM, Sales, Engineering, PjM, etc.)

Requierements:

  • Completed studies in engineering/technical training 
  • At least 8 years of practical experience in the quality area 
  • Knowledge of the core tools of the automotive industry such as APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC, 8D, FTA, GD&T 
  • Certified Six Sigma Green or Black Belt (would be an advantage) 
  • IT skills (MS Office, statistical tools, etc.) 
  • Knowledge of IATF16949 and customer-specific requirements  
  • Fluent written and spoken German and English 
  • Eligibility to apply for a visa 
  • Willingness to travel 10%-25% - nationally and internationally
