Job Overview

Manages all aspects of operation and maintenance of multiple/large physical facilities

Job Requirements

 

  • Disciplinary personnel management, training, and professional development in line with the changing requirements of the assigned employees
  • Strategic and operational management of maintenance activities for operational equipment, buildings, and property areas - including planning, implementation, monitoring of measures, and systematic reporting
  • Responsibility for compliance with and implementation of all relevant requirements in the areas of corporate and occupational safety, environmental protection, and energy management, as well as close coordination with authorities, external partners, and consultants
  • Responsibility for continuous process optimization and for improving the technical infrastructure with regard to cost and resource efficiency
  • Ensuring high-quality service delivery by external service providers for buildings and property infrastructure
  • Further development of building services maintenance toward predictive maintenance
  • Independent definition, management, and quality control of external services for maintenance, repairs, and structural modifications at the site
  • Responsibility for the planning, execution, documentation, and monitoring of maintenance activities for site infrastructure related to building services systems, in compliance with applicable legal and regulatory requirements
  • Identification of investment requirements and independent responsibility for cost planning, cost accounting, and price calculations
  • Organization and management of comprehensive documentation, analysis, and reporting of maintenance events (corrective maintenance, preventive maintenance, spare parts expenditure, automation technology, etc.) within the facility management area to ensure transparent and efficient traceability of maintenance activities
  • Responsibility for the shutdown and release of building services systems

What your background should look like

 

  • Master of Science in Production Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a comparable field
  • At least 8 years of experience in facility management in a cleanroom environment and at least 5 years of leadership experience in facility management within a cleanroom environment
  • Comprehensive knowledge of relevant legal regulations and guidelines
  • Knowledge in the areas of plant engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics, and in handling chemicals and hazardous substances
  • Fluent German and English language skills, both written and spoken
  • Self-organized working style, strong ability to work systematically and independently, holistic thinking, decisive execution, and strong organizational skills
  • Assertiveness, persuasiveness, entrepreneurial mindset and actions, and the ability to delegate effectively
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, flexibility
  • Analytical mindset with a careful and structured approach to work
  • Sound judgment and a high degree of initiative
