Job Overview

Reporting to Sr. Director of Global Continuous Improvement, the Manager Continous Imrovement (TEOA) EMEA will provide overall leadership for the deployment and achievement of TEOA goals across all locations of the Sensors BU in EMEA.  This position is responsible for promoting and facilitating the successful implementation of TE Operating Advantage, allowing and enabling the business to achieve Hoshin goals and meet business objectives.

Job Requirements

  • Lead the Continous Improvement (TEOA) attainment plan for the EMEA region, including specific tools, metrics, star-level targets, key KPIs, and supporting actions required to achieve TEOA goals.
  • Deliver training, coaching and counsel to all applicable sites and functions on TEOA tools deployment. Develop annual goal and achieve such goal as to number of employees trained on TEOA tools.
  • Personally conduct transformation and other smaller productivity workshops to help the sites / functions learn and achieve improvement. Develop annual goal and achieve such as to the number of workshops to be accomplished by each site.
  • Achieve the KPI (key performance indicators) of Sensors Operations with respect to safety (TRIR), quality (PPM), inventory (ITO), productivity (materials / conversion), delivery (STR) and gross margin by focusing, supporting and in some cases leading TEOA activity that is focused on improving these key metrics.
  • Serve as the coach / mentor for all TEOA-focused people to ensure their personal development in TEOA expertise.
  • Serve as the facilitator, gatherer, and scorekeeper of Sensors Operations KPIs. Revise and enhance existing KPI templates as necessary. Ensure timely reporting of such KPIs.
  • Foster an environment of open collaboration with all sites in the region to advance TEOA and Operations performance improvement. Actively and openly provide feedback (including constructive push-back) on Operations functional direction and action plans.

  • 10+ years leadership in a multi-national, product and technology development environment with preference for experience in related industries.
  • Experience leading an organization on the continuous improvement journey from the initial stages of a structured business model to an optimized one
  • Experience in design engineering and the product development stage gate process
  • Proficiency in standard reporting/presentation and data analysis tools
  • Experience in Six Sigma and Lean methodologies
  • Languages: fluent English. French and/or German is an advantage
