Job Overview

As an innovative partner to the international automotive industry, we develop and supply high-precision sensor technologies that make mobility safer, more efficient, and smarter. To further drive our growth and strengthen our relationships with our OEM and Tier 1 customers in the long term, we are looking for a dedicated Account Manager (m/f/d) – Automotive Sensors EMEA. In this key role, you will be responsible for the strategic support of important customers, identifying new business potential, and actively driving forward technical and commercial projects.

Job Requirements

  • Generate your own growing sales with automotive OEMs and Tier 1 companies in your assigned region
  • Develop a strong pipeline of qualified sensor opportunities
  • Build and deepen executive-level relationships with decision-makers in automotive engineering, purchasing, and R&D
  • Negotiate pricing, contracts, and multi-year agreements to ensure customer satisfaction and commercial success
  • Act as a voice for automotive customers by driving alignment between market requirements and internal product development
  • Create accurate forecasts through active pipeline management and participation in the S&OP process
  • Represent TE at key automotive trade shows and industry events, showcasing our latest sensor innovations
  • Work cross-functionally with FAEs, product managers, program managers, and the supply chain to deliver an exceptional customer experience
  • Monitor market trends, competitive activities, and regulatory developments to identify customer needs and develop strategic initiatives

What your background should look like

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or a related field is an advantage
  • At least 5 years of experience in automotive sales, key account management, or business development, ideally with OEM or Tier 1 customers
  • In-depth knowledge of sensor technologies, electromechanical components, or automotive electronics is an advantage
  • Proven track record of managing complex sales processes involving multiple stakeholders, procurement, and technical teams in the automotive industry
  • Fluent in English; German or French is highly desirable
  • Willingness to travel within the region (>50%)
  • Strong commercial acumen, negotiation skills, and a customer-focused mindset
  • Organized, self-motivated, and results-oriented with excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Proficiency in Salesforce and MS Office applications
