Job Overview

The UR Lead EMA will report directly to Sr Manager Talent Acquisition EMEA and have strategic and operational responsibilities for creating efficiencies and best practices approach to the University Relations process across all BU’s. The UR Lead will built up university relations expertise through the identification, development and execution of strategies that drive ’s approach and model across specified lines of business. The role can be based in any bigger German TE location.

Tasks Summary & Responsibilities

-Design, set and execute an EMEA wide aligned University Relation Strategy cross all BU´s for TE. This includes:

  • Close alignment with HR/BU leads in regards, selling of concept, UR-SWFP and funding
  • Close collaboration with an external agency to design strategy and implementation plan
  • Implementation of UR strategy in the pilot countries Germany and Ireland (ground concept and "menu card" per Business Unit)
  • After proof of concept build out of strategy to further EMEA countries
  • UR Strategy shall include: e.g. Identifying of Target Universities and build out collaboration, building yearly EMEA fair plan, Founding of local Recruiting Focus Teams and implementing of Marketing Concept
  • Identify Sources of Talent and establish relationships with campus career centers, business schools, student organizations,  Mentoring Programs and affinity group organizations
  • Close collaboration with Marketing Team EMEA and recruitment Marketing team in the US
  • Close collaboration with keyplayers of our TE Ambassador Programs as well as the TE ERG (e.g. Young Professionals)
  • Build out a Talent Pool with UR candidates

- Overall Responsibility for our Dual Student-, Rotational and apprenticeship programs in Germany

- Partner with Talent Management to drive recruitment, retention and development opportunities

- Development of I&D strategies to attract more female talents in the UR market

What your background should look like:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Psychology, Human Resources, or other related discipline / MBA is nice to have
  • Min. 5 years’ experience in a HR related field, e.g. Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, and University Relation, Training or Coaching background
  • Strong problem solving skills and ability to multi task
  • Very Strong analytical and strategic mind set
  • Acting as UR Business Partner for the Business and the Leadership Success
  • Self-directed with high-level of initiative and strong work ethic
  • Exceptional communications skills
  • Works with the highest degree of professionalism while maintaining a competitive spirit
  • Can effectively communicate and build relationships across all levels of the organization
  • Very strong business English
