Job Overview

As HR Business Partner for TE Automotive – EMEA (AUT EMEA) you serve as the Business partner for the assigned client group in EMEA, providing strategic partnering, leadership and counsel for the EMEA Quality and Supply Chain function. With a deep understanding of the business objectives you will be able to translate global and regional strategies into people goals and drive the execution into the region in close partnership with the broader HR team.  



  • Provides leadership, counsel and support to the assigned client group for key business initiatives and business related matters and processes.
  • Drive and lead HR processes and initiatives like organization design, workforce planning, organization development and organizational effectiveness within the business, in close partnership with the HR partners and COE’s, whilst fostering a One HR mentality.
  • Coordinate change management programs and facilitate organizational change by supporting business leaders to develop plans in line with business strategy.
  • Lead and collaborate on employee relations issues to ensure legal compliance and maintain a respectful working environment for the client group.
  • Coach and develop managers and key talents, drive development initiatives and succession planning to ensure longer term success
  • Consult and coach business leaders on organizational change management and employee issues.
  • Champion employee engagement through effective communication, programs, and alignment to development and growth opportunities.
  • Facilitate and drive key talent development plans to strengthen the talent pipeline for all critical positions including stretched assignments, coaching or mentoring programs, professional & leadership training to retain and develop talent

  • Act as a coach and be a facilitator when needed.


What your background should look like:


  • Approx. 6-8 years of experience in various HR assignments, including Business Partner.         
  • Proved track record in Organization Design, Change Leadership, Talent Management and Organizational Development
  • Ability to influence, lead and drive execution into the region through close partnership with the broader HR function
  • Ability to multi-task and work efficiently in a fast-paced, international matrix organisation
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Has advanced knowledge of international labor laws and obligations and uses this knowledge to advice management, especially in conflict situations.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation and communication
  • Fluent in English - both written and spoken. Additional German language proficiency is a preference
  • Bachelor degree in Business, Human Resource Management, Psychology or any related field. A Master Degree is a plus.        
  • Ability to travel 30-50% depending of location of residency
