Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Industrial Business Unit is seeking a Global Product Manager (m/f/d) to drive the strategy, innovation roadmap, and business performance of its Board Connectors & Industrial Interconnect Systems portfolio.

In this role, you will have global responsibility for assigned product lines, defining strategic direction, shaping growth initiatives, and enabling execution across a global matrix of Engineering, Sales, Operations, Finance, and regional Product Management teams.

The position requires a strong strategic mindset, deep customer and market understanding, and the commercial discipline to scale the portfolio through new product introductions, best-in-class go-to-market strategies, and expansion into adjacent applications and markets. You will manage the full product lifecycle and contribute directly to revenue growth, margin expansion, portfolio competitiveness, and operational performance.

Job Requirements

  • Support the development and execution of a comprehensive global portfolio strategy to drive sustainable revenue and margin growth across key markets
  • Identify breakthrough opportunities, including new applications, platforms, technologies, business models, and targeted M&A opportunities, that strengthen TE's competitive position
  • Translate market trends, customer needs, technology shifts, regulatory developments, and competitive activity into clear strategic actions
  • Build and maintain product and technology roadmaps in collaboration with Engineering, Sales, and Operations to position TE for success in existing and emerging market segments
  • Participate in Voice of Customer (VOC) and application insight programs to develop differentiated product value propositions and support investment decisions
  • Support strategic partnerships and M&A activities, including target evaluation, strategic rationale development, market and portfolio fit assessments, and post-merger integration activities focused on portfolio harmonization, product line consolidation, and roadmap alignment
  • Define resource requirements and support the global pricing strategy, including value-based pricing, discount governance, and margin optimization, while ensuring consistent execution, commercial readiness, and responsiveness to local market needs

What your background should look like:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field; an advanced degree is considered an advantage
  • 7-10 years of experience in Product Management, Marketing, Engineering, Strategy, or similar functions
  • Experience in industrial markets is preferred, including appliances, connectors, electromechanical components, industrial automation, or related industries
  • Demonstrated success in portfolio strategy, lifecycle management, roadmap development, and identifying product gaps and growth opportunities
  • Strong financial and quantitative skills with the ability to derive insights and make disciplined business decisions
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within global, cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders without formal authority
  • High level of curiosity and willingness to learn product technologies, applications, and manufacturing fundamentals
  • Fluent German and English language skills are required
