Data Analyst - Business Development (f/m/d), 100% Remote

Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Business Development Teams identify, develop, and implement near-term and long-term business development strategies relating to the development of new products, technologies and services. They identify markets and determine the feasibility of business and product development. Our Teams perform economic analyses on new or improved product opportunities, develop business models and determine market trends to substantiate long-term prospects.

 

The position is 100% remote from Europe.
The travel part is about 5-10%.

Tasks and Responsibilities

The Data Analyst (m/f/d) for the Business Transformation Office (BTO) performs ad-hoc analysis and recommendations based on various data sources and provides dashboards for KPI tracking in the execution of strategic projects. In doing so, your analysis results are an important basis for management in shaping long-term business strategies, developing implementation plans, and for retrospective root cause analysis.

- You are the specialist when it comes to the questions of what data is needed, how to analyze it, and what forms of preparation and presentation to choose in order to derive actionable recommendations.
- You will create and/or maintain dashboards for strategy implementation and of reports that provide valuable insights into metrics, trends and KPIs.
- You will have primary responsibility for data extraction, preparation and hosting processes and ensure data quality.

Profile

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Internet Technology or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- You will use your excellent analytical skills to focus on the big picture and develop solutions after a detail-oriented look at the data situation. 
- With your excellent communication and presentation skills and experience in grasping complex issues and presenting them in an understandable way, you are a collaborative team player on projects.
- Advanced MS Excel skills are essential
- Experience with visualization tools, particularly Tableau or Power BI.
- Programming experience in Window PowerShell, Visual Basic / C# programming languages, OpenXml library, MS SQL, ASP.NET, Python, sdk.
- Experience with SAP ERP systems, Salesforce.com, SQL, etc.
- MRP and ERP system knowledge (SAP) with process bill of materials, bill of materials, info records and costing.
- Experience with MES systems, e.g. S4 HANA, SAP Manufacturing Integration and Intelligence.
- Excellent English skills, both written and spoken
