Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Accounting Teams develop, implement and/or maintain one or more accounting systems: Journal entries, General Ledger, Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payable, Revenue Reconciliation, Cash Flows, etc. in accordance with GAAP policies and procedures. They also design operational procedures and processes that meet audit standards and improve efficiency.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Tasks and responsibilities:

  • Within assigned customer team support core teams with financial evaluation of projects
  • calculate production alternatives, in terms of design, method and production location
  • Performs profitability analysis on Projects, calculating the ROI, payback, Operating Income and Breakeven point calculations
  • Support lifetime costing during all gates of the production development phase and over lifetime of production
  • Drive continuous cost improvements, target costing, make or buy decisions
  • Close communication with project manager, sales and marketing, product engineering, manufacturing engineering and purchasing



Your profile:

  • Completed technical college degree with economical and /or technical background required
  • Relevant finance/accounting experience with project costing in automotive industry
  • Professional process know-how about production processes required by product design
  • Ability to detect cost drivers based on either product design or manufacturing process
  • Ability to compare production alternatives, in terms of design and method
  • Understanding of parameters influence OI, Payback, ROIC
  • Motivation for drive continuous cost improvements and target costing
  • Passion to create cost transparency in all phases of product lifecycle
  • Ability to create customer-specific cost statements / disclosures
  • High motivation to collaborate within teams
