Business Development Manager (m/f/d) - Automotive

Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Account Management Teams are responsible for selling TE's products, systems or services, providing detailed technical product information and maintaining relationships with customers in assigned geographic territory, industry or accounts.

 

As Business Development Manager (m/f/d) - Automotive you’ll be responsible for:

 

  • Work closely with the Account- and Product-Management Team to manage each OEM Account for maximum revenue growth based on application understanding
  • Analyse and understand customers’ business strategies and application areas, future product plans, expansion activities to be able to drive an innovative product pipeline together with product management.
  • Support and/or participate in management team negotiations on difficult and or critical business matters related to the individual business plans to generate solutions for our customers.
  • Provide vision, penetration strategies and tactics to executive managers to develop and drive the revenue growth.
  • Extend our customer base by developing current customers and extending to new players in the market.

What your background should look like:

 

  • Economic or technical university degree or equivalent
  • Years of work experience at OEMs or Tier 1/Tier 2 suppliers in the field of hybrid and electric mo-bility in the automotive industry
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving and strong negotiation skills in an international environ-ment
  • Good knowledge of MS Office and LeanPD, and basic knowledge of TE Project and SAP
  • Ability to work with internal teams, executive management, and external customers
  • Strong intercultural skills to successfully collaborate with internationally distributed stakeholders
  • Proven skills in developing/implementing strategies in support of market segments, customers, and products consistent with the overall business plan
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken), German language skills are an advantage
  • Willingness to travel on a regular basis and driving license
  • Ability to effectively organize, prioritize and accomplish multiple conflicting tasks, make intelligent, timely decisions, and solve problems independently

COMPENSATION
•    Competitive base salary commensurate with experience
•    Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
•    Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
