Senior Manager Total Rewards (Remote)

Job Overview

 

Reporting to the Director, Total Rewards this position partners with Human Resources leadership of assigned client group serving as the Total Rewards resource and single point of contact for all Total Rewards needs. The Sr Manager Total Rewards designs and analyzes compensation and benefits programs ensuring competitiveness and alignment to TE’s Total Rewards strategy and legal requirements.

Responsibilities

 

  • Build strong relationships with client groups to understand business strategy and to identify appropriate Total Rewards solutions.
  • Partner with clients to establish short-, medium- and long-term total rewards priorities.
  • Partner with the business on the design and review of sales incentive plans and coordinate annual review of sales incentive plans to drive timely approval and roll-out. Measure effectiveness of plan design to ensure appropriate ROI to BU.
  • Partner with the HR team to develop and implement integration strategies for acquisitions. Conduct acquisition due diligence and coordinate integration policies and programs using both internal and external resources.
  • Understand top talent, key roles, and strategic workforce plan to influence compensation strategy and planning with respect to base pay, incentives, and equity.
  • Consult on compensation and benefits issues globally to ensure market competitiveness and adherence to budgetary guidelines.
  • Support the Compensation planning process, consulting with HR and BU leaders on merit, bonus & LTI budget spend, ensuring the decisions support TE’s pay for performance philosophy and are the best use of company funds taking the business results into consideration.
  • Advise and train client group on Total Rewards philosophy and programs.
  • Initiate and deliver specialized analysis on competitive and internal compensation practices, strategies and metrics based on business needs.
  • Partner with other Total Rewards team members (business and regional) to coordinate Total Rewards policies and programs that will impact other Segments and the overall Total Rewards philosophy/strategy. Balancing Segment needs with overall corporate strategy.
  • Develop recommendations for a band, level, title and pay for middle-management and Executive roles based on analysis of duties, internal equity and market competitiveness.
  • Collaborate with the Total Rewards Solutions team to set the strategy for overall survey selection, use and mapping.
  • Work collaboratively with all members of the HR team, demonstrating the ability to innovate, adapt and be flexible.
     

Requirements

 

  • Strong communication, consulting and influencing skills
  • Business Acumen and Leadership presence
  • Experience building relationships across cultures
  • Experience in Sales Incentive Plan design
  • Strong analytical skills: ability to analyze statistical/financial data, understand cost impact to business and develop recommendations
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or Human Resources
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in compensation and benefits
  • Project Management Skills
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task 
  • Good understanding of equity including global use 
  • Highly proficient in MS Office (Excel and PowerPoint) 
  • Experience with Success Factors or comparable comp planning system 
  • CCP or GRP preferred
