Account Manager/ Harness Maker (m/w/d)

Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Account Management Teams are responsible for selling TE's products, systems or services, providing detailed technical product information and maintaining relationships with customers in assigned geographic territory, industry or accounts.

 

As an Account Manager/ Harness Maker (m/f/d) - Home Office you’ll be responsible for:

 

  • Act regionally as Account Manager; accountable for regional profitable sales growth, development of new business opportunities and maintaining customer satisfaction
  • Review of customer contracts and coordination with legal and other involved departments
  • Responsible for delivering all relevant information/data for the internal S&OP process
  • Accountable for the project delivery internally as well as externally
  • Responsible and accountable for delivering the regional annual growth plans as well as further de-fining the account specific regional tactic
  • Assess and qualify new business opportunities and manage and provide new product streams.
  • Ownership for developing, implementing, and executing plans for advancing the company’s prod-ucts to meet the customer’s specific demands
  • Build up and maintain customer relation
  • Communicate regional results (monthly billing review, monthly rolling F/cast and market project highlights) 
  • Identify application areas where TE does not have a dominating position and define account cov-erage and product requirements.
  • Responsible for preparation of financial justifications and presentation, quotations, and negotia-tions of specific projects as well as pricing of existing business with special focus of profitability and contracting with customers.
  • Ensure that TE is perceived as the primary supplier of choice by the customer.
     

What your background should look like:

 

  • Commercial and technical background, ideally a joint degree of engineering and business admis-tration (industrial/ commercial engineer) or equivalent 
  • Min. 2 years’ experience in various Business Administration and Sales assignments
  • Comfortable to work in a fast-paced, international matrix organisation
  • Fluent in English and German (written and spoken)
  • Good knowledge of LeanPD and MS Office, and basic knowledge of TE Project and SAP
  • Deep knowledge about customer structure, market condition as well as competitor and supplier landscape
  • Strong problem solving, strategic and tactical thinking, and analytical skills
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross functionally and to influence without direct authority as well as being culturally sensitive
  • Ability to form successful working relationships quickly at all levels
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Willingness to travel on a regular basis and driving license

COMPENSATION
•    Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $xxx – xxx (subject to change dependent on physical location)
•    Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
•    Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
