Job Overview

In this role you will be part of Global Controlling organization and reporting to Senior Manager, ESG Reporting & Controls (“ESG PMO”).  Policies & Procedure Analyst will develop and manage TE’s Environment, Social and Governance (“ESG”) policies, procedures, instructions, directives, templates, published guidance and learning program. The position will be responsible for interfacing with Subject Matter Experts in ESG compliance and other functional stakeholders across the enterprise to develop and revise standard documentation related to ESG activities. The position will have primary responsibility for supporting the Sr. Manager, ESG Reporting & Controls in setting up an ESG PMO office as a Subject Matter Expert in ESG related policies, procedures, and learning activities.

 

 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the creation and maintenance of ESG policies, procedures, instructions, directives, templates, and other published guidance (“ESG related Policies & Controls documents”).
  • Guide stakeholders through the pre-defined change management process for revising currently published ESG related Policies & Controls documents.
  • Establish effective business partnerships within the Global Finance, Legal and ESG teams, encouraging team members supporting different regions and businesses to be involved and to ensure an aligned, properly prioritized, and holistic approach to ESG compliance.
  • Drive continuous improvement actions and mindset within the ESG organization and other functions and businesses across the corporation.
  • Construction and sustainment of the learning program for various stakeholders and functions
  • Identifying requirements for automated controls and compliance measures
  • Provide strategic thought leadership.
  • Provide regulatory guidance to functional stakeholders.

 

What your background should look like:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Sustainability, Law, Finance, or related discipline
  • 3+ years of relevant work experience to include managing corporate policies and procedures or related to ESG topics. 
  • Knowledge of ESG related regulations.  
  • Experience training employees on policies, processes, issues, and automation tools.
  • Experience in working with a geographically diverse teams, and in a matrix environment with professionals from various functional areas.
  • Experience with implementing automated compliance measures/systems.
  • Experience with assessing compliance risks in the business and developing proactive strategies to mitigate risks.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills to audiences within the Company and to external advisors
  • Impeccable English language skills, verbal and written.
  • Ability to embrace change and be flexible to changing business needs.
