Job Description Overview:
The Technical Writer will be responsible for Preparing & managing technical Documents which includes QTP, ATP, Flow chart, Compliance Documents for New/Existing programs in the field of RFoF, Electrical System & Electromechanical products for TE connectivity.
The Technical Writer will work with Design & Development engineers for Global and Local team to fulfill all Technical documents as per customer & Qualification requirement.
Responsibilities:
•Prepare, review, revise, and maintain technical documents including process flow charts, assembly instructions, qualification, testing, and user documentation/manuals.
•Write and edit technical documentation for all of the projects hardware and software to include installation, configuration and how-to-documentation.
•Leverage existing engineering documentation and update existing documentation.
•Interact with Engineering, FAE, Quality, Project Management and Operations teams
Qualification / Experience:
•BE/BTech in Electronics/Mechanical/Electrical/Instrumentation
•Min 3 years of relevant experience in technical writing for aerospace & defense applications
Competencies
•Aptitude and experience for interpreting technical engineering information (drawings and manuals) and schematics (electrical & mechanical)
•Expertise in MS Word and Adobe Acrobat
•Ability to quickly learn, absorb, and apply technical content to further develop understanding of electronics sub systems and test processes
•Ability to read and understand technical drawings and schematics (electrical & mechanical)
•Strong analytical, communication, and writing skills
