Job Overview

The Supply Chain Analytics Team Member plays a key role in providing the basis for continuous improvement in TE’s Freight Operation and Costs by providing accurate and complete Freight (Cost) information. Identifies (new) trends and is capable of harvesting valuable insights out of vast amounts of (Freight-related) data and is able to quantify these in Real World saving opportunities.


    Develops and deploys reports and insights into the TE Freight Spend 
    Monitors data accuracy and can identify and explain trends, abnormalities and irregularities
    Maintains the TEBIT Tracker for Freight Initiatives and drives the freight community to keep information current and in line with forecasts.
    Can present (complex) data and insights in an intuitive and simple way
    Identifies and develops automation of processes where applicable
    Teams with the procurement organization to provide them with input for RFQ Processes
    Maintains a close relationship with the relevant BU Freight Stakeholders

Desirable Candidate:

    Five or more years of experience in dealing and/or reporting freight costs
    Familiar with the typical complexity of Freight costs and accruals in large, intercontinental organizations
    Demonstrated experience developing reporting in systems such as PowerBI, Business Intelligence, Alteryx
    Deep understanding of database structures and merging different sources


    Candidate can see the bigger picture and understands the impact of Freight Costs as part of the Logistics operation
    Candidate is holding himself/herself to high standards in terms of accuracy, completeness and verification
    Communication skills: ability to communicate effectively in oral and written form.
