Job Overview
Roles & Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of pricing analysts to deliver operational pricing results for assigned regions and/or product lines.
- Set priorities, review analytical outputs, and ensure consistent, high‑quality pricing support aligned with business strategies.
- Act as escalation point and mentor for complex pricing, margin, and deal structures.
- Perform and oversee margin and pricing analyses to support key business initiatives, product programs, and commercial decisions.
- Track overall price trends and pricing health, including expected vs. actual performance of special pricing.
- Analyze transactional‑level data to identify price and margin erosion, leakage, or arbitrage risks and recommend corrective actions.
- Determine historical and forward‑looking price impacts on sales and margin performance.
- Identify products requiring book price creation or restructuring and support segmentation and configuration decisions.
- Capture and analyze external competitive and market data to inform pricing decisions.
- Ensure compliance with TE global pricing policies, processes, and delegated authority governance.
- Utilize TE pricing and data systems SAP, pricing platforms, BI tools to deliver insights and support continuous improvement.
- Serve as a pricing system and analytics subject matter expert, including configuration, data integrity, and reporting.
- Explore and adopt advanced analytics, automation, and AI / machine learning capabilities to improve pricing effectiveness and efficiency.
Desired Candidate
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related field required.
- 5–7 years of experience in pricing, financial analysis, or related analytical roles.
- Prior experience leading or coaching analysts preferred.
- Advanced Excel (pivot tables, financial modeling, trend analysis).
- Familiarity with SAP, SQL, Power BI, and analytics enablement tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot).
- Strong ability to translate complex analytics into clear, actionable business recommendations.
- Excellent communication and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
