Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Distribution & Logistics Teams manage the efficient flow of goods, services and information between point of origin through customer placement in order to meet customer requirements or internal business objectives. They create integrated processes among internal functions such as operations, purchasing and logistics, and outside suppliers. They also focus resources on continuous improvement of the movement of materials through various production processes, and establish key performance metrics and benchmarks relating to supply chain planning/forecasting to measure actual performance against goals on a regular basis.

Roles & Responsibilty:

 

  • Leading FAP Migration Projects and closing it as per the timeline agreed with the stakeholders 
  • Managing smooth functioning of the Transport Management system (TMS)
  • Lead FAP roll out projects and ensure to go live on time
  • Perform end to end UAT Testing of the project’s migrations
  • Ensure to have EDI set ups done by collaborating with EDI Expert
  • Find out avenues to have FTE’s savings via BOT implementation and review 
  • Lead Productivity savings projects by collaborating with across the region BU , GLOG and other stakeholders
  • Accrual Error Mgmt reports (Request activations, missing cost center / PCs).
  • Review Master table every quarter to ensure all carriers maintained there are in activation tables.
  • Carrier vendor masters (banking, remittance advice info). Cost Center / PC cross reference table..
  • Master Table Updates for US – customer routing guide and RFQ changes.
  • Managing periodic Rate uploads based on RFQ / spot approvals at TMS (Transport Management System)
  • Route Table for the US & Maintain TED 2.0 modes .
  • Incorrect FPM in Master Table leading to non-relevancy.

Desired Candidate Profile.

Educational Degree    

 

  • Master’s Degree in Finance 
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting & Finance

 

Professional Experience :   

  • 10-12 years of relevant experience in accounts & freight-related activities in product/manufacturing/ KPO/ Shared Services. 
  • At least 1yr of project management experience.
  • Knowledge of accounts payable functions and procedures & freight-related awareness would be an added advantage along with knowing US & EMEA  geography & function.
  • Excellent Knowledge on MIS Reporting backed up with advance Excel skill sets.
  • Strong experience in SAP Logistics domain
