Job Overview

Coordinates and integrates the flow of materials and information among suppliers, manufacturers, distributors, and customers and identifies opportunities for improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the supply chain.

Job Requirements

  • Managing day-to-day operational coordination and escalations, reviewing and tracking checklists, ensuring all supply chain activity is completed timely, and avoiding project delays.
  • Monitoring inventory levels and coordinating with multiple teams in arranging the manufacture or the purchase of stock to meet promised deliveries against forecasted demand.
  • Implementing supply chain optimization projects, creating processes to gather supply chain data, and analyzing them to identify areas for improvement.
  • Liaising with the internal functions to determine priorities and working with the cross-functional leads to identify, plan and resolve inconsistencies and gaps between demand and supply.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate cross-functional supply chain transformation projects from assessment through execution and stabilization.
  • Identify operational gaps, process inefficiencies, organizational constraints, and systemic risks across logistics and supply chain operations.
  • Drive structured problem-solving initiatives focused on service improvement, inventory optimization, logistics efficiency, and operational execution.
  • Establish PMO governance standards, project tracking mechanisms, escalation processes, and executive reporting cadence.
  • Facilitate alignment between Planning, Customer Service, Logistics, Procurement, Manufacturing, and Finance teams.
  • Develop and maintain transformation roadmaps, project timelines, risk assessments, and action tracking dashboards.
  • Support leadership in prioritizing strategic initiatives based on business impact, operational urgency, and resource availability.
  • Monitor KPIs and operational performance indicators to identify trends, gaps, and improvement opportunities.
  • Lead workshops, Kaizen events, operational reviews, and transformation discussions with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Track project plan for key initiatives to ensure on-time execution.
  • Partner with regional packaging teams and Logistics team to drive Standardization.
  • Drive use of returnable packaging with the regional teams.
  • Drive Packaging density improvement projects resulting in reduction in transportation cost.
  • Support the project teams with insights from the past transactional data.
  • Bring visibility into freight inefficiencies linked with Packaging by developing relevant dashboards.
  • Partner with Masterdata team to improve Packaging Material Master-Data Quality.
  • Work closely with Regional procurement team to drive VMI for packaging and reduce PM inventory in our warehouses.
  • Identify and drive projects for Packaging which will enable warehouse space reduction.
  • Manage logistics and warehouse improvement initiatives to optimize supply chain processes and enhance efficiency.
  • Collaborate with key regional stakeholders to execute key warehouse transformation projects.
  • Partner with Warehouse and Finance team and provide analytics for Warehouse cost (including Value Added Services).
  • Drive cost savings projects identified with the right stakeholders and track project plans.
  • Support regional team by providing analytics on warehouse data.
  • Partner with Masterdata team to improve Warehouse Master-Data Quality.
  • Support in implementation of Logistics Management System (LMS).
  • Data Analysis: Conduct thorough data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including procurement, operations, and finance, to achieve project goals.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Prepare regular reports and documentation to track progress and communicate results to senior management.
  • Ensure process adherence and follow up with ground team to provide an unparalleled delivery experience to customers and cross-functional teams.

Desired Candidate

  • Bachelor or master’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration or related field from a Tier-1 college (mandatory)
  • Minimum 5–10 years direct experience in Logistics and Supply Chain (e.g., supply chain design, logistics, warehousing, procurement, or operations). Global exposure is a plus
  • High-level understanding of supply chain concepts – Network, Transportation, Warehousing and Inventory, etc.
  • Prior working knowledge in analytics using analytic tools is a must
  • Must have: Excellent MS PowerPoint and Excel skills
  • Preferred: Power BI, Tableau, SAP, SQL
  • APICS, Lean certification, IBF or equivalent certification is a plus
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks and adjust quickly within short time frames with limited direct supervision
  • Ability to create rapport with others and build a team environment
  • Ability to work flexible hours if necessaryd
  • Able to apply first-principles thinking to solve problems; self-motivated with bias for action and ownership
  • Strong written and verbal communication, organizational, motivational, and time management skills
  • Excellent facilitation skills
