TE Connectivity's Supply Chain Managers are responsible for the timely, cost-effective procurement, inventory control, planning and quality control of production materials. They ensure the availability of materials in the supply chain, as scheduled, and the maintenance of inventory at the established levels. They coordinate and integrate the flow of materials and information among suppliers, manufacturers, distributors and customers, identifying opportunities for improving efficiency, effectiveness and capabilities of the supply chain. Resources are focused on continuous improvement of the movement of materials through production processes, and the establishment of key performance metrics and benchmarks to monitor actual performance against goals.

Job Title: Supply Chain Analyst II

 

Location: Bangalore

 

Overview of the Job:
The Customer Supply Chain role is an integral part of ensuring the service to some of TE’s most critical accounts. This role will be responsible for setting up and managing Supply Chain programs (e.g. VMI/Consignment, Safety Stock and Customer Forecast / Liability) for Key accounts of the Industrial business unit in the EMEA region, assisting Sales in setting up and implementing new Stocking Agreements, manage account review process to ensure customer- specific inventory levels are being met. This role will require an individual with both experience setting up and managing the programs and analysis above and with a proactive mindset committed to cross-functional partnering with all parts of TE to ensure successful execution (i.e. empowered ownership).
Additional expertise and comfort in data (obtaining, manipulating, analyzing) will be crucial in efficiently performing ad-hoc analysis, identifying areas for standard reporting, and resolving ongoing issues.

 

Summary & Responsibilities: 
•    Setup and manage supply chain programs and agreements (VMI/Consignment, Safety Stock, Customer Forecasts, Liability Agreements).
•    Ensure customer compliance to all contractual requirements
•    Coordinate with various stakeholders to ensure timely progress on ongoing projects, and emerging issues (e.g. line-down)– knowing when and how to engage these stakeholders (Sales, Operations, legal, etc.) is critical to the ongoing success of this role
•    Identify, obtain, analyze and interpret relevant supply chain data.
•    Use analysis results to improve supply chain processes, performance and to reduce cost
•    Manage regular touchpoints with account teams (e.g. Quarterly and Annual Reviews)
•    Determine Customer Specific safety stock / Consignment Min-Max level to drive Customer experience and reduce Customer lead-times. Work with sales for input of Safety Stock levels and Provide Monthly updates of Customer Specific Safety Stock Levels.
•    Assist Quality and the Sales Team with forecast information for many Customer requests: Weekly Sales Forecast Numbers, Part Change Notifications, Allocated Parts, Obsolescence, Superseding Part Numbers, Business Transfers and Quality challenges.
•    Review Forecast vs. Demand and drive appropriate actions.
•    Analysis on forecast fluctuations
•    Identify areas for continuous improvement (e.g. repetitive problematic part resolution).
•    Key KPIs may include: Improve Ship to Request, Decrease Customer Weighted Average Lead Time, Reduction of Days on Hand Inventory, Improve Customer Experience
•    Review and report Lead Time and MOQ changes

 

Educational Degree: Graduate from any stream

 

Professional Experience: 
•    5+ years of experience in Supply chain area, 
•    Well versed with Data Analysis – SQL , SAP , Excel etc.
•    Added advantage if the candidate has Tableau, Power BI and SQL experience
