  • Build production-grade Python/PySpark transformations across SAP (ECC/S/4HANA – FI, CO, SD), Hyperion/OneStream, Oracle, and AWS sources; decode SAP ABAP programs (RFCs, Z-reports, BW extractors) into modern Databricks pipelines.
  • Orchestrate pipelines using Databricks Workflows, MWAA, Step Functions, or Fabric Data Factory with robust error handling, alerting, and SLA monitoring.
  • Design optimized Microsoft Fabric semantic models (Direct Lake, star schema, DAX, RLS, incremental refresh) for high-performance finance reporting and Tableau-to-Power BI/Fabric migrations.
  • Build Genie Spaces/Databricks AI/BI Genie on curated Gold-layer finance datasets to enable natural-language analytics for FP&A, Controllership, AR/AP, and Treasury functions.
  • Develop and deploy AI applications using LangChain, LangGraph, RAG, and Vector Search, including multi-agent finance assistants for AR triage, revenue forecasting, and variance analysis, served through Databricks Apps and Model Serving (Claude Sonnet/Opus, AWS Bedrock).

  • Mentor engineers and BI analysts while partnering with Enterprise Architecture, OneData, FP&A Technology, InfoSec, and Cloud Engineering teams to drive POCs in Agentic AI, RAG, MCP servers, and finance copilots.

Desired Candidate

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or Finance; MBA, B.Com, or CA qualification in Finance is a strong advantage.
  • 8–10 years of experience in Data Architecture, Data Engineering, and AI integration using Python.
  • Extensive hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric (Semantic Models, Direct Lake, OneLake, Data Factory) and Databricks (Unity Catalog, Delta Lake, DLT/Lakeflow, Workflows, Genie, Model Serving, Vector Search).
  • Strong expertise in Python and PySpark, including production-grade coding, modular package development, unit testing, CI/CD implementation, and observability practices.
  • Proven experience building AI applications using LangChain, LangGraph, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and deploying solutions through Databricks Apps and Model Serving (Claude Sonnet/Opus, AWS Bedrock).
  • Strong understanding of SAP data domains (FI, CO, SD) with the ability to interpret and decode SAP ABAP programs; highly preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS services (S3, Redshift, Bedrock, Lambda, SageMaker, Step Functions, OpenSearch), Oracle, Hyperion/OneStream, Power BI (DAX), and Tableau.
  • Deep knowledge of Medallion Architecture, Lakehouse and Data Mesh design patterns, and enterprise data governance frameworks, including Unity Catalog, Microsoft Purview, Row-Level Security (RLS), and Column-Level Security (CLS).
  • Strong finance domain expertise across FP&A, Controllership, Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), Revenue, Backlog, Cost, Margin, and Treasury functions.
  • Strategic and consultative mindset with demonstrated ability to gather requirements, facilitate workshops, build business cases, and present to senior leadership; experienced in Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Gap Analysis, Cost-Benefit Analysis, and Risk Assessment.
  • Proven track record of automating enterprise-scale finance processes using SAP GUI Scripting, Power Automate, and Python.
  • Familiarity with MCP servers, Copilot Studio, Claude Cowork, and emerging Agentic AI platforms; strong mentoring, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills within global teams, coupled with a demonstrated ability to learn quickly.
