Roles & Responsibilities
The Sr. Marketing Data & Analytics Analyst will be responsible for TE Connectivity’s strategic marketing analytic solutions. This position will conduct analysis and generating business insights of global demand waterfall performance, campaign performance, website activity, product analysis, and customer analysis revenue for the business unit. This position will also be responsible for conducting regularly scheduled and ad hoc analyses that dive deep into the data to uncover the hidden insights and recommendations that will help TE go beyond explaining what happened, but rather inform us what we should do next. Working cross-functionally with internal marketing teams and external creative and digital media agencies to translate marketing business questions into insights that will improve marketing performance.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience generating data insights and analyzing B2B marketing automation platforms to enable TE Connectivity to grow our marketing effectiveness and ROI. This includes the full data analysis lifecycle from collection, analysis, sourcing, integration, storage and automated reporting. Candidates will have demonstrated the ability to understand specific data needs for analytic and reporting solutions, and then have aptitude in the development of associated data models to support data visualization, reporting and analytics.
- Analyze marketing’s campaigns and demand generation program effectiveness at driving leads, customers, and revenue for the business unit
- Build scalable solutions which can be adopted by adopted globally
- Identifies and generates needed insights to improve the business and marketing performance, shows leadership to bring insights forward, in addition to generating analyses when asked
- Leverage insights to propose segmentation, targeting & marketing effectiveness/improvements
- Utilize various tools (Adobe, Tableau, Alteryx, Excel, Access, SQL) to join disparate data sources together to create a more robust story for the business
- Collaborate cross-functionally to prioritize new initiatives/enhancements to be implemented to deliver against Marketing’s overall SMA & CRM objectives
- Create new and leverage existing traits/segments within DMP to destination map to marketing platforms
- Create and distribute weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance reports
- Conduct ad hoc data analyses and performance reports as needed
Competencies And Experience Required/Desired
- BA/BS in Marketing,Business, Finance, Economics, or other related field (Master a Plus)
- 4 - 6 years of experience analyzing sales and marketing data
- Strong ability to identify business issues, formulate plans to resolve these issues and effectively communicate the results to all levels of the organization
- Experience with Tableau, SQL, Alteryx , Data Bricks
- Experience building complex ETL solution is desired
- Experience in AWS, Python, regression, Machine learning etc. is a plus
- Eloqua or Marketo and Salesforce.com experience is a plus
- Experience with marketing analytics platforms and has worked on digital marketing data is an added benefit: Google Analytics, Google Adwords, Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target, Adobe Audience Manager
- Candidate certified in tools is an added advantage
- Experience with Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Gap Analysis, Cost Benefit Analysis and Risk Assessment
- Strong analytical skills with impeccable attention to detail
- Microsoft Office Tools
- Ability to collaborate in a global team environment
- Ability to learn new tools quickly.
