They maintain existing products, processes, and specifications including modifications for new applications consistent with manufacturing techniques and economies. The Appliances Business Unit is seeking a motivated individual to help drive adherence to Product Environmental Compliance (PEC) and drive automation.  This role will function as part of our Digital Engineering Team and support a diverse, global, product development team.




    Ensure the Business unit products comply with regulations guiding product manufacturing, Engineering, and quality.
    Own the overall product environmental compliance for the Business Unit.
    Drive adherence and implementation of TE PEC policies and legislative requirements within the BU. Represent their BU on the Product Compliance Council.
    Be the Product Environmental Compliance Champion and Subject Matter Expert for the Business Unit.

Job Description:




    Attain compliance by isolating and resolving non-compliance issues; recommending product and process changes; initiating engineering change orders.
    Provide centralized leadership and subject matter expertise to the product and materials compliance process across BU.
    Achieve product environment compliance KPI for the Business Unit and report to corporate compliance.
    Design, set-up and manage the materials compliance workflow, systems, and processes for all TE Appliances BU sites.
    Train cross functional team (Engineering/Sales/Product Manager/Quality) within on product compliance and emerging Regulation.
    Collaborate with cross functional teams to achieve NPI Compliance at launch KPI.
    Work closely with Digital part management team to digitize product compliance activity.
    Prevent compliance issues by collaborating with engineering design teams, researching, and identifying applicable regulatory and industry compliance standards and codes, developing compliance policies.




Minimum 4 year degree in an engineering or science discipline  




    3-7 years of experience in product environment compliance.
    Theoretical & practical knowledge of product and/or process development.
    Familiar with REACH, WEEE, ROHS, CA Prop 65 and other environmental standard.
    Hands on experience of working with product or materials compliance regulations and processes
    Demonstrated experience in working as team and across regions / time zones. Curiosity to understand, and ability to address and solve new problems is required.
    Ability to build strong, credible relationships with multiple organization functions inside TE and outside, as example customers and suppliers.
