Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Sales & Marketing Support Teams assist with implementing sales/marketing initiatives by providing technical and/or product information support (i.e., data analysis, tracking, etc.). They are also responsible for planning and coordinating promotional programs and other communications initiatives.

Roles & Responsibilities

 
• Active management of the product life cycle and closing of portfolio gaps.
• Be the opportunity champion for PAC projects.
• Analysis of competitors, their products, and market strategies.
• Participation in the continuous further development of the product roadmap.
• Responsible for answering sales and product queries related to the product line.
• Responsible for the pricing strategy.
• Work with R&D and operations in the development of new products to meet current and future customer requirements.
• Track progress to the business plan and facilitate resolution to gaps.
• Organize and lead calls on various activities related to product management.
• Responsibility for high quality and on-time delivery.
• Handle tasks related to internal dashboards and customer portals.
• Intensive communication with international internal customers (mainly in English) and partial communication with external international customers.
• Read and analyze technical documentation and all types of drawings.
• Coordinate with different internal teams based on customer queries and support Product Managers in sales and technical support.
• Handle RFQs (Request for Quotation) and RFIs (Request for Inquiry); create quotations for customers based on Product Manager requirements.
• Create engineering and customer sample orders and manage complete sample coordination.
• Understand customer specifications regarding products.
• Make decisions on parts moving to the aftermarket and discontinuance.
• Make decisions related to MOQ (Minimum Order Quantity) and PPQ (Package Per Quantity).
• Drive internal product strategies for product lines.

Desired Candidate

QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor of Engineering (BE) / BTech (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics)
• 5-6 Years of experience in Product Management or a related role
• Product knowledge and project follow-up experience

• Technical capabilities: Expert functional/domain knowledge
• Strategic agility: Identifying relevant technological trends and opportunities, leveraging TE global technology to increase competitive position and customer value
• Application Engineering: Ability to understand customer requirements and offer engineering solutions
• Global–local stakeholder alignment: Building relationships with Product Managers and key customers
• PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) knowledge
• Knowledge of Bill of Materials
• Six Sigma tools (added advantage)
• Quality control: Ensuring quality across all processes
• Tools proficiency: SAP, MS Office, Access, SharePoint, Project Management tools
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills
• High customer and service orientation
• Coordination skills with various TE manufacturing plants
• Ability to quickly adapt to new requirements
• Strong decision‑making skills
• Ability to identify problems, brainstorm, analyze options, and implement effective solutions
• Willingness to learn continuously, including complex processes and scenarios
• Flexibility to work across different time zones as required
