Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Sales & Marketing Support Teams assist with implementing sales/marketing initiatives by providing technical and/or product information support (i.e., data analysis, tracking, etc.). They are also responsible for planning and coordinating promotional programs and other communications initiatives.

Responsibilities

•    Govern the onboarding of new SPC parts, ensuring timely and accurate availability of attributes, facets, commercial, marketing, and partial engineering data.
•    Define, optimize, and continuously improve data processes, workflows, and standards.
•    Train Product Management and Engineering teams on governance processes and tools.
•    Take ownership of the six key dimensions of data and manage all related issues:
o    Data Quality
o    Completeness
o    Timeliness (on-time availability)
o    Validity
o    Accuracy
o    Uniqueness
•    Define, implement, and monitor KPIs and metrics to evaluate data governance effectiveness.
•    Provide support for internal and external audits.
•    Collaborate cross-functionally with Product Management, Marketing, Digital Product Engineering, and Taxonomy teams.
 

Desired Candidate Profile

1.    Minimum of 3 years' experience in data governance, business and systems analysis, and operational roles with a proven ability to implement sustainable, long-term data solutions over temporary fixes.
o    Operational: Daily experience with metrics collection, trend analysis, and reporting.
o    Project-based: Demonstrated success in creating or enhancing governance metrics, documentation, and training materials.
2.    Proven experience (3+ years) communicating effectively with senior stakeholders and executive management, with a track record of building credibility and trust.
3.    At least 2 years’ experience in creating detailed, step-by-step process documentation for cross-functional business users.
4.    Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences with varying levels of technical knowledge.
5.    Minimum of 3 years’ experience working with database technologies, data systems, or similar technical environments.
6.    Demonstrated ability to build strong, collaborative working relationships across teams, characterized by active listening, knowledge sharing, professionalism, discretion, and a commitment to excellence.
