Job Overview
TE Connectivity’s Inside Sales Team manages the sales and inquires of various Medical components. The primary responsibility of the Sales Specialist is to take ownership of the end-to-end process of inbound AllTube sales. RFQs and other requests must be addressed in a timely manner, mostly within 24 hour timeframe. Including but not limited to: customer engagement, inquiry intake, spec documentation, quote creation and PO collection.
Role Qualifications:
Must positively represent TE MicroGroup portfolio to customers and partner with other internal departments to ensure adherence to Quality Management Systems and customer specifications. Have previous Customer Facing experience, preferably from a Customer Care or Sales perspective. Fluency in English both spoken and written is required
Position Responsibilities:
- Communicate with inbound customers via email, telephone and online chat service
- Thoroughly understand customer requests and specifications around their inquiry
- Reading and analyzing technical documentations and drawings
- Handle RFQ (Request for Quotation) and RFI (Request for Inquiry)
- Generate quotes against RFQ within timeline prescribed by Product Line managers and follow up to secure order
- Generate and publish metric reports as required
- Strict adherence to Standard Work instructions and timelines
- Be a TEam player & collaborate cross functionally
Experience
- 2+ years of relevant experience in a customer facing role (customer service or sales)
- Order Intake and Data Entry experience required
- Inside sales or consultative selling experience preferred
- Relevant product or industry experience desired
- Ability to work solve problems, influencing skills and ability to deal with ambiguity
- Ability to work within deadlines
